Home to Roost & Jar of Love by Guest Designer, Michelle Wallace
I am so thankful to friends who make their own masterpieces and allow me to post them on my blog.  Michelle is a good friend, and it helps that she is so talented, and thank you Michelle for sharing.
Recipe:
  • The base is an 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 piece of Merry Merlot scored at 4 1/4.
  • The Tranquil Tide layer is 5 1/4 x 4.
  • The 5 x 3 3/4 layer of Crumb Cake is stamped with the Buffalo Check background stamp and Merry Merlot ink.
  • The 4 x 1 piece of Merry Merlot is dry embossed with the Pinewood Plank folder.
  • The Merry Merlot 2 3/4 square is the base for the 2 1/2 Very Vanilla square on which the rooster is stamped with Tuxedo Memento Black ink.
  • The rooster is colored with Stampin' Blends and the edges of the Very Vanilla are sponged with Crumb Cake ink.
  • The jar is stamped with Tuxedo Memento Black ink on Very Vanilla and cut out with the Jar of Love Framelits Dies.  It is also sponged with Crumb Cake ink.
  • Linen Thread is wrapped around the jar and the jar is popped up with Dimensionals.
  • All done, and remember to decorate your envelope.
