To a Wild Rose &
Good Morning Magnolia
To a Wild Rose is a new set in the 2019-20 catalog by Stampin' Up!  So many possibilities, so little time, what's a girl to do?  I know what I'll do, make this beautiful card!!!
Recipe:
  • The base is an 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 piece of Seaside Spray scored at 4 1/4.
  • The Terracotta Tile layer is 5 1/4 x 4.
  • The Pretty Peacock layer is 5 x 3 3/4.
  • The Whisper White layer on which my roses are stamped with Pretty Peacock and Seaside Spray ink is 4 3/4 x 3 1/2.  The leaves are stamped with Old Olive and Pear Pizzazz ink.
  • The layer of Vellum Cardstock is 4 3/4 x 3 1/2.  I used glue dots to secure the vellum to my white layer.
  • The ribbon is the Terracotta Tile Scalloped Linen.
  • The ovals are Pretty Peacock, Seaside Spray, Terracotta Tile & Whisper White.
  • The words are stamped with Pretty Peacock ink from the Good Morning Magnolia set.
  •  All done, and remember to decorate your envelope.

Back on Your Feet
Back on Your Feet is a fun new set in the 2019-20 catalog by Stampin' Up!  The set offers seven other stamps besides these two, and I am liking them all.
Recipe:
  • The base is an 11 x 4 1/4 piece of Mango Melody scored at 5 1/2.
  • The Crumb Cake layer is 5 1/4 x 4 and is dry embossed with the Layering Leaves embossing folder.
  • The 4 1/2 x 2 5/8 piece of Early Espresso is the base for the 4 1/4 x 2 1/2 piece of Whisper White on which my giraffe is stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink.  The giraffe is colored with Mango Melody, Crumb Cake and Soft Suede Blends.  Both of these pieces are torn to give them a rough edge look.
  • The 1 1/8 scalloped circle of Mango Melody is the base for the 1" Whisper White Circle.  The words are stamped with Early Espresso ink.
  •  All done, and remember to decorate your envelope.

Floral Essence,
Enjoy Life, Sailing Home & Woven Threads DSP

I keep going and going and going.  Putting 1/2" strips of paper on cardstock to create unique cards is so much fun.  In fact, it is so much fun, I've decided to offer this technique at my next Hostess Club meeting coming up, Thursday, June 27, 2019.  So, if you are part of my hostess club, it's time to get excited, and if you would like to attend as a guest, please let me know.
Recipe:
  • The 8 1/2 x 5 1/2  bases of Pretty Peacock or Mossy Meadow are scored at 4 1/4.
  • The Terracotta Tile or Night of Navy layers are 5 1/4 x 4.
  • The Whisper White layers are 5 x 3 3/4, and has strips of Woven Threads or Come Sail Away DSP adhered in a random pattern, enough to cover the entire layer.
  • The Stitched Nested Framelits Dies are used to cut out the Pretty Peacock, & Terracotta Tile, Balmy Blue, & Crumb Cake and the Whisper White layers.
  • The words from Enjoy Life (top card) are stamped with Pretty Peacock ink, and the words from Sailing Home (bottom card) are stamped in Night of Navy ink.
  • The flower from Floral Essence is stamped three times with Pretty Peacock ink on Whisper White cardstock, and punched out with the new Perennial Flower Punch, glued together with Multipurpose Liquid Glue, and popped up with Mini-Dimensionals.
  • The anchor from Sailing Home is stamped with Night of Navy ink on Crumb Cake cardstock and cut out with Smooth Sailing Dies.
  • Linen thread is used to tie the anchor.
  • All done, and remember to decorate your envelope.
