Comfort & Hope and
Playful Alphabet
Another CASE (Copy And Share Everything), from page 88 of the 2020-21 Stampin' Up! catalog.  I am really liking the new Comfort & Hope stamp set.

Recipe: (building from base)
  • The base is an 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 piece of Calypso Coral, scored at 4 1/4.
  • The Coastal Cabana layer is 5 1/4 x 4.
  • The Whisper White layer is 5 x 3 3/4.
  • One of the small background stamps from Comfort & Hope is inked with Versamark, and heat embossed with white embossing powder.  Then I sponged over the embossed area with Bermuda Bay ink and a sponge.
  • The 3 3/4 x 2 5/8 piece of Whisper White is the base for the Calypso Coral piece that is cut out with the, second from the largest, Stitched So Sweetly dies.
  • I used the new Foam Adhesive Sheets when I cut out my letters.  Once the letters are cut out, the sticky foam adhesive makes it so easy to pop up the letters. I can see me using these foam adhesive sheets for lots of cutouts.  They are awesome.
  • The hearts are from the Dog Builder Punch and Calypso Coral cardstock.
  • I used a Pretty Peacock marker to ink the words and stamped on a 2 x 1/2 piece of white.  The tail is made with my Paper Snips.
  • I sprayed the card with a mixture of Frost White Shimer paint and a little alcohol.
  • All done and remember to decorate your envelope.

    Tasteful Touches,
    Here's a Card, and
    Marbling Technique
My wonderful, dedicated, and loyal Hostess Club members made these cards when we met for our July 22, 2020 meeting.
I believe everyone had fun "rolling their marbles", even while wearing masks.
We used so many colors of cardstock and ink to name, and almost any color combination works.
I saw this technique demonstrated by Mary Tautner on YouTube, and you can see her video Here.

    Recipe:
    • The bases are 8 1/2 x 5 1/2, scored at 4 1/4.
    • The second layers are 5 1/4 x 4.
    • The Whisper White layers are 5 x 3 3/4.
    • The strip of cardstock on top of the white is 3 3/4 x 1 1/2, backed with foil.
    • All done, and remember to decorate your envelope.
Should you want to order any of the supplies we used to make these cards, I would be honored if you chose me as your SU demonstrator.  To place an order, please click Right Here to go to my on-line store.  Or, you can click on the 2020-21 catalog right here on my blog.

    Framed for You &
    Waterfront

The Stampin' Up! catalogs have some wonderful samples created by the SU design team, and it is so much fun to CASE (Copy And Share Everything) their cards and projects.  This one came from page 47 of the 2020-21 Stampin' Up! Catalog.

    Recipe: (building from base)
    • The base is an 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 piece of Bumble Bee, scored at 4 1/4.
    • The Cajun Craze layer is 5 1/4 x 4.
    • The Flowers for Every Season DSP layer is 5 x 3 3/4.
    • The picture frame is backed with a piece of Whisper White, and images from Waterfront.
    • The frame is Smoky Slate cardstock (cs), stamped with Smoky Slate ink, and cut out with the Layering Square Dies. Then I added four Antique Corners and Slides.
    • Next I heat embossed the words with white embossing powder on Basic Gray, and cut them out with a Ornate Frame Die.
    • I stamped the flower with Old Olive and Daffodil Delight ink on Whisper White and framed it with an Ornate Frame Die cut out with Cajun Craze cs.
    • All done and remember to decorate your envelope.

      Tasteful Touches &
       Poppy Moments Dies
I began to CASE (Copy And Share Everything) this card from page 178 of the Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog.
I liked the sketch and the colors, and added layers to make it "my own".

      Recipe: (building from base)
      • The base is an 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 piece of Blackberry Bliss, scored at 4 1/4.
      • The Purple Posey layer is 5 1/4 x 4.
      • The Brass Foil layer is 4 x 3.
      • The Shimmery White layer is 3 7/8 x 2 7/8.
      • The leaves and flowers are cut out with the Poppy Moments Dies, and Pear Pizzazz, Garden Green, and Daffodil Delight cardstock.
      • I "washed" a smaller piece of Shimmery White cardstock with one of the new Water Painters and Daffodil Delight ink, and cut it out with the large flower die from the Poppy Moments dies.
      • The top layer of the flower is cut out with Daffodil Delight cardstock.
      • The center of the flower is Basic Black.
      • The words, from Tasteful Touches, is stamped with Tuxedo Memento Black ink.
      • All done and remember to decorate your envelope.

        Champagne Foil

This is another share from my sweet friend, Wendie.
It's so easy to use Tasteful Touches because there are so many possibilities.

        Recipe: (building from base)
        • The base is an 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 piece of Thick Very Vanilla, scored at 4 1/4.
        • The Old Olive layer is 5 1/4 x 4.
        • The Crumb Cake layer is 5 x 3 3/4.
        • The Champagne Foil is 5 x 2, and the Whisper White, on which the feathers are stamped with Old Olive ink, is 5 x 1 7/8.
        • The Champagne Foil diecut, from the Tasteful Labels Dies, is the base for the 3 1/4 x 1 Whisper White piece, that is stamped with Old Olive ink, and popped up with dimensionals.
        • All done and remember to decorate your envelope.

My sweet friend, Wendie Jamison, is so gracious.  She loves to make cards, and I absolutely love that she shares them with me to share with you.

          • The In Good Taste DSP layer is 5 x 3 3/4.

Gorgeous Posies Project Kit & Altered Card
The Gorgeous Posies Project Kit comes with everything you need to make 16 "gorgeous" cards and even has a beautiful box to hold all of them.  What a fantastic gift!!
The coordinating stamp set, Gorgeous Posies, is sold separately, however, almost any set of stamps works well.
This is an example of an altered card I made from the set.

            Recipe: (for the altered card)
            • The base is an 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 piece of Highland Heather (from the kit), scored at 4 1/4.
            • The Gold Foil layer is 5 1/4 x 4.
            • The Gorgeous Posies Kit layer is 5 x 3 3/4. (I trimmed it down).
            • I used a die from the Ornate Layers Dies and some Gold Foil to make the base for my Highland Heather rectangle.
            • I heat embossed the words, from Here's a Card, with Gold Embossing Powder.
            • I used two of the die cuts from the kit for the flower and leaves, and used glue dots to apply them to the corner of the Happy Birthday piece.
            • All done and remember to decorate your envelope.
Should you want to purchase any of the supplies I used to make this card, I would be honored if you chose me as your demonstrator, and placed your order in my on-line store, HERE. Or, you can click on the 2020-21 catalog right here on my blog.

              Mountain Air &
              High Tide for my
              July 2020 Classes
Mountain Air is such a beautiful set.  It is reversible and has coordinating dies.  So for my July classes I wanted to showcase the stamp set without using dies--make a fantastic masculine card, and so easy with few supplies.

              Recipe: (building from base)
              • The base is an 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 piece of Shaded Spruce, scored at 4 1/4.
              • The Seaside Spray layer is 5 1/4 x 4.
              • The Whisper White layer is 5 x 3 3/4.
              • I stamped the mountains with Seaside Spray.
              • Next I stamped the trees with Shaded Spruce, and then stamped again without reinking the stamp.
              • The water is stamped with Seaside Spray and a stamp from High Tide.
              • The words, from Timeless Tropical, and the birds, from Mountain Air, are stamped with Tuxedo Memento Black ink.
              • All done and remember to decorate your envelope.
Should you want to purchase any of the supplies I used to make this card, I would be honored if you chose me as your demonstrator, and placed your order in my on-line store, HERE. Or, you can click on the 2020-21 catalog right here on my blog.
