Inspirational Sketches for my December 2024 Creative Therapy Classes

Shy Shamrock & Pretty in Pink

Highland Heather

Pretty Peacock Glimmer Paper & Lost Lagoon Cardstock

Peach Pie

When I saw Peggy Noe's card on Pinterest, I knew I had to CASE it, for sure.  I am offering a duplicate of Peggy's card using multiple colors of glimmer paper and cardstock.  I did alter the tags for the greetings.
I am offering these cards at both of my December 10th and 14th, 2024 classes, and as always, I am excited to share.
If you would like to see Peggy's how-to video, please click Here.

Recipe:
  • The bases are 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 Basic Black scored at 4 1/4.
  • The next layers are 5 1/4 x 4 and are embossed with the Distressed Tile folder.
  • The large black circles are cut from the Deckled Circles Dies, the 7th from the largest.
  • The all the glimmer papers are cut from one of the Spotlight on Nature dies.
  • The flowers are stamped with Tuxedo Memento Black ink on Basic White cardstock and punched out with a 2 3/8" punch.  The layers of Basic Black under the flowers are punched with a 2 1/2" punch.  Both of these are popped up with Stampin' Dimensionals.
  • The words are stamped with Basic Black on Basic White and cut out with a long-retired Petals & More Die.  This is added to a Basic Black piece that has been cut out with one of the Unbounded Love Dies.
  • All done and remember to decorate your envelope.

Playing around with the Regal Floral Bundle and Magnolia Mood

Playing around with one of my newest bundles.

Recipe:
  • The 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 base of Blackberry Bliss is scored at 4 1/4.
  • The Fresh Freesia layer is 5 1/4 x 4.
  • The Basic White layer is 5 x 3 3/4 and I used Blackberry Bliss, Fresh Freesia and Lost Lagoon ink to make my own background.
  • I used the retired Cross Hatch Embossing Folder to give my background some depth.
  • The 5 x 1 7/8 Blackberry Bliss is the base for the 4 7/8 x 1 3/4 piece of Regal Winter DSP.
  • The words from Magnolia Mood are stamped on Basic White with Blackberry Bliss ink and cut out with a Regal Flora die.  I sponged this with Fresh Freesia.
  • I stamped two leaves and a flower, cut them out with the Regal Flora dies and added them to the word piece and popped this up on the card with dimensionals.
  • Three Opaque Adhesive-Backed Gems (on sale for $3.20) are added.
  • All done and remember to decorate your envelope.
