Jar of Love and Swirly Scribbles
This fun card was designed by Sande Parcell, my sweet, lovely, and super talented friend.  Sande can come up with the best ideas, ever, and I always appreciate her sharing with me.  Especially when she lets me "borrow" her fantastic creations.

Recipe:
  • The base is an 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 piece of Night of Navy, scored at 4 1/4.
  • The DSP layer is 5 1/4 x 4.
  • The images are stamped on a 5 x 3 3/4 piece of Whisper White.
  • The jar is stamped on a piece of Whisper White with Archival Black ink, and the Vellum cardstock is cut out with the Everyday Jar Framelits Dies.
  • The words are from Designer Tee, a retired set from the 2017 Occasions Mini.😭
  • Don't forget to decorate your envelope.
  • All done!!!

Sharing Sweet Thoughts
This might be one of the most overlooked stamp sets in the Stampin' Up! 2017-18 catalog.  Why, you ask? Maybe because it is on the very last page of the catalog, (page 233), and you are so excited about all you see, you stop looking when you get to the index on page 224?  I know I didn't see it at first.
There are so many ways to use this set, especially since it coordinates with the Everyday Jar Framelits Dies. See below for the supplies I used to make it.
 Recipe:
  • The base is 8 1/2 x 5 1/2  piece of Melon Mambo scored at 4 1/4.
  • The Bermuda Bay layer 5 1/4 x 4.  I stamped the little hearts with Bermuda Bay ink, then dry embossed it with the Fluttering E.F.
  • The Crushed Curry Color Theory DSP is 4 1/8 x 3, and I rounded the top edges with the project life corner punch.
  • The piece of Shimmery White on which I stamped my jar, and strawberries is 3 7/8 x 2 1/2.  I used Basic Gray Archival ink, and colored the strawberries with Watercolor Pencils and a Blender pen.  The words are stamped with the same ink on a 5/8 x 2 1/2 piece of Shimmery White.
  • The lid is stamped with Bermuda Bay ink on Shimmery White and cut out with the Everyday Jar Framelits.
  • I used Linen Thread on the lid and popped it up with dimensionals.
  • Don't forget to decorate your envelope.
  • All done!!!

June 2017 Hostess Club Project, Artistically Asian
Here is another card all of my Hostess Club ladies made when we met on June 22, 2017.  (See post of June 19, 2017 to see the other project/card they made).
I made this card by taking a baby wipe, rubbing a corner of it in Pear Pizzazz ink and dabbing or running it over my Thick Whisper White card stock.  Did the same with So Saffron and Soft Sky.
I tried this technique with the regular weight whisper white, and found the Thick weight cardstock worked so much better.  Glad I had it on-hand.
Recipe:
  • The base is an 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 piece of Night of Navy, scored at 4 1/4.
  • The Soft Sky layer is 5 1/4 x 4 and I embossed it with the Seaside EF.
  • The strip of So Saffron is 4 x 1/2.
  • The Old Olive layer is 4 1/4 x 3 1/4, and the Whisper White on which my images are stamped is 4 1/8 x 3 1/8.
  • The words and image is stamped with Soft Suede, and the small dragonfly (cut out with Night of Navy) is from the Detailed Dragonfly Thinlits Dies.
  • Don't forget to decorate your envelope.
  • All done!!!

Daisy Delight
I offered this great card at my last Paper Therapy and Cardmaking class earlier this month.  It was very popular, and I was excited that so many of my ladies enjoyed making it.
There are so many things you can do with the Daisy Suite, and here are two more cards I made with the Daisy Delight DSP, and the Daisy punch.

Recipe:
  • The bases are 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 pieces of Night of Navy or Old Olive, scored at 4 1/4.
  • The Daffodil Delight or Whisper White layers are 5 1/4 x 4.
  • The DSP is 1 1/4" x 2 pieces, and 1" x 2 pieces, and adhered to a piece of 5 x 3 3/4 piece of Whisper White.
  • I stamped the daisy on Night of Navy cardstock with Night of Navy ink, and Old Olive cardstock with Old Olive ink.  Punched two daisies with the Daisy punch.
  • Popped them up with dimensionals.
  • Don't forget to decorate your envelope.
  • All done!!!

June 2017 Hostess Club Project, Happy Birthday
This is one of the cards we will make at my June 22, 2017 Hostess Club meeting.  I used SU's new Glossy White paper and sponge daubers to make the multicolored Happy Birthday, and the "embossed" background is not actually embossed.  It is layered with balloons. I'm excited to share this amazing technique with all of my wonderful, fabulous, dedicated, and supportive stamping friends and hostess club members.

My inspiration came from Linda Heller's Stamping School. You can learn all about it on Linda's YouTube channel right here .

If you would like to become a member of my Hostess Club, or visit as a guest, please let me know. You can contact me by email at: angelsofjoy@gmail.com, or phone:  336-538-4996, and I'll fill you in with all the details.

Recipe:
  • The base is an 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 piece of Berry Burst scored at 4 1/4.
  • The Lemon Lime Twist layer is 5 1/4 x 4.
  • The Whisper White layer is 5 x 3 3/4.
  • The Glossy cardstock piece is 5 1/2 x 4 1/4, and I used my sponge daubers to "color" it, then cut it out with the Happy Birthday thinlits die.
  • The embossed background was made with the Balloon Bouquet punch.
  • I colored some White Perfect Accents with Sharpie's and adhered them in a random pattern.
  • Don't forget to decorate your envelope.
  • All done!!!

  • Next the layer of Crumb Cake is 5 1/4 x 4.
  • The words are stamped with Night of Navy ink on a 5 x 3 3/4 layer of Whisper White, and then embossed using the Seaside embossing folder.
  • I used Night of Navy cardstock, my Big Shot and the Swirly Scribbles Thinlits to cut out the "water".  I glued the water to my card front with a Fine Tip Glue Pen.
  • The umbrella and handle are stamped with Cherry Cobbler ink on Whisper White.
  • The doggie and kitty are stamped with Tuxedo Memento ink on Whisper White, colored with Watercolor Pencils, and blended with a Blender Pen, and cut out with paper snips.
