Timeless Tropical & Waterfront
Michelle Wallace is another one of my very talented friends, and I was elated to receive her card at our swap when I had my Stampin' Up! Catalog/Yard party last week. 
A few of the supplies Michelle used to make this beautiful card are retiring on June 2, 2020, so should you really, really want any of the retiring products, now would be the time, just sayin'. 

Recipe: (building from base)
  • The base is an 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 piece of Early Espresso, scored at 4 1/4.
  • The Old Olive layer is 5 1/4 x 4.
  • The Crumb Cake layer is 5 x 3 3/4 and is embossed with the Coastal Weave embossing folder. (retiring).
  • The Tropical Oasis DSP (retiring) pieces are various sizes.
  • The Whisper White circle is stamped with Crumb Cake, Pool Party and So Saffron ink from the Waterfront set and cut out with the Stitched Shaped Dies. 
  • The trees are made by using waterbased markers and coloring directly on the stamps with Old Olive and Early Espresso ink.
  • The words are stamped with Early Espresso ink.
  • Three Champagne Rhinestone Jewels are add to make this card extra special.
  • All done and remember to decorate your envelope.

    Woven Heirloom & 
    Positive Thoughts
    Retha Fulp is so talented, and I was elated to receive this card at our swap when I had my Stampin' Up! Catalog/Yard party last week. 
    A few of the supplies Retha used to make this beautiful card are retiring on June 2, 2020, so should you really, really want any of the retiring products, now would be the time, just sayin'. 

    Recipe: (building from base)
    • The base is an 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 piece of Thick Whisper White, scored at 4 1/4.
    • The Whisper White layer is 5 1/4 x 4 and is embossed with the Layered Leaves 3D embossing folder (retiring).
    • The oval is cut out with the Woven Heirloom Die (retiring), and embossed with the oval Heirloom 3D embossing folder (retiring).  Then sponged with Crumb Cake ink.
    • The bouquet from Positive Thoughts is stamped on Very Vanilla, 2 times, cut out with the Nature's Thoughts dies.  The bouquet is tied together with Linen Thread.
    • The words from Woven Heirloom are stamped with Crumb Cake ink. 
    • All done and remember to decorate your envelope.

      Painted Harvest & Good Morning Magnolia
      This beautiful card was made with the soon-to-be retired set, Painted Harvest.  Good news though.  You still have a little bit of time to get it.   See below the recipe for ordering directions.  I appreciate any and all orders, and that's a fact!

      Recipe: (building from base)
      • The base is an 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 piece of Melon Mambo, scored at 4 1/4.
      • The Petal Pink layer is 5 1/4 x 4 and to make my own background, I stamped it with Petal Pink ink.
      • The Soft Suede layer is 4 1/2 x 3 1/4 and is the base for the 4 1/4 x 3 Whisper White piece.
      • The images on the white from Painted Harvest are stamped with Melon Mambo & Soft Suede inks.
      • The popped up flower's are stamped with Melon Mambo and Soft Suede ink and cut out with my handy-dandy Paper Snips.  
      • The leaves are made by stamping Old Olive on white and cut out with the retiring Leaf Punch.
      • The word Hello, from Good Morning Magnolia, is stamped with Soft Suede ink and cut out with the Layering Oval Dies. 
      • The Braided Ribbon Trim is wrapped around these two layers.
      • The completed card is sprayed with a mixture of Champagne Shimmer Mist and alcohol.
      • All done and remember to decorate your envelope.

        Follow Your Art DSP
        I can't help myself, well, I really can, I just don't want to stop using this cute, cute, cute stamp set.  
        I know I am going to be so busy with all the new products in the SU catalog, I thought I would have a little more fun with the Check You Out stamp set, before it retires on June 2, 2020.

        Recipe:
        • The base is an 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 piece of Coastal Cabana, scored at 4 1/4.
        • The Pacific Point layer is 5 1/4 x 4.
        • The Follow Your Art DSP layer is 5 x 3 3/4.  
        • The 4 x 2 5/8 pieces of Crushed Curry and Whisper White are cut with the Stitched Rectangle Dies.
        • The books are stamped with Calypso Coral, Pacific Point, and Crushed Curry ink.  The library card is stamped with Blushing Bride on White and cut out with my handy-dandy Paper Snips.
        • Henry the worm is stamped with Coastal Cabana on White and also cut out with my Paper Snips.
        • Just checking on you is stamped with Pacific Point ink on white and cut out with a 3/4" punch (retired).
        • Two Gilded Gems are added to the Crushed Curry piece.
        • All done and remember to decorate your envelope.

            Free as a Bird & Good Morning Magnolia
            Free as a Bird is a beautiful stamp set, and yes it is going to be carried over to the new SU catalog, Yeah!! It will not come as a bundle though, a savings of 10%, almost $6.00.  Hey, that's enough to buy some Dimensionals, just sayin'.

            Recipe:
            • The base is an 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 piece of Petal Pink, scored at 4 1/4.
            • The Early Espresso layer is 5 1/4 x 4.
            • The Bird Ballad DSP (retiring, 6/2/2020) is 5 x 3 3/4.
            • The 4 1/4 x 2 7/8 piece Early Espresso is the base for the 4 1/8 x 2 3/4 piece of Whisper White.
            • The images are stamped with Early Espresso ink and colored with Stampin' Blends. (the individual blends will not be available in the new catalog, only sets consisting of a light and dark).
            • The word Hello, from Good Morning Magnolia, also carried over to the new catalog, is stamped with Soft Suede ink on Whisper White and sponged with Soft Suede ink, and cut out with the Stitched Nested Labels dies.
            • Linen thread is wrapped around the smaller rectangles before the die cut pieces are added.
            • All done and remember to decorate your envelope.

              Capture the Good & 
              On To Adventure
              I bought the Capture the Good and On To Adventure just to make this card. Seriously, I did!!! Now I'm so glad I did because they are so much fun to use, and because both of these sets are retiring.  They are available until June 2, 2020, or while supplies last.
              I saw this cute, adorable card on Pinterest, and followed it to Tina Wardell’s blog. To see Tina’s video and her card, click Here, post of July 5, 2019.  

              Recipe: (building from base)
              • The base is an 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 piece of Granny Apple Green, scored at 4 1/4.
              • The Basic Black layer is 5 1/4 x 4.
              • The camera, little man, Hank, and the words are stamped with Tuxedo Memento Black ink on a 5 x 3 3/4 piece of Whisper White.
              • Hank is colored with Stampin' Blends.  (The blends will not be sold separately, only as a combined set of light and dark beginning with the 2020-21 catalog).  
              • The 7 x 1 3/8 piece of Basic Black is layered with 4 pieces of 1 3/8 x 7/8 pieces of Bird Ballad DSP.  After I glued the DSP to the black cardstock, I punched holes with a 1/8" handheld circle punch, (retired, and available at most craft stores) 
              • The words are colored with my Water-based Black marker and I used a 3/4" circle punch (retired) to cut them out, and popped the circles up with dimensionals. 
              • All done and remember to decorate your envelope.

                Check You Out
                I wanted to share another quick, easy and fun birthday card.  I liked the Check You Out set when I first saw it in the SU catalog, so here I am, finally using it.

                It is retiring from the current catalog and is available until June 2, 2020, or while supplies last.  It is only $16.00 for 16 Stamps.  Super deal.  Check it out!!!

                • The base is an 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 piece of Grapefruit Grove, scored at 4 1/4.
                • The Blueberry Bushel layer is 5 1/4 x 4 and is embossed with the Scripty Folder.
                • The 4 1/4 x 3 piece of Granny Apple Green is the base for the 4 1/8 x 2 7/8 piece of Whisper White on which my images are stamped.
                • All done and remember to decorate your envelope.

                  Accented Blooms & the Tailored Tag Punch
                  I wanted to share a quick and easy card I made with Accented Blooms.  It is such a pretty and versatile set, and I am sorry to see it retire from the current catalog.  
                  There is still time to purchase it because it is available until June 2, 2020, or while supplies last.

                  Recipe: (building from base)
                  • The base is an 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 piece of Old Olive, scored at 4 1/4.
                  • The Highland Heather layer is 5 1/4 x 4.
                  • The Rich Razzleberry layer is 5 x 3 3/4 and is embossed with the Tufted 3D embossing folder..
                  • The next layer of Old Olive is 3 5/8 x 3 3/8 and is the base for the 3 1/2 x 3 1/4 Whisper White Layer.
                  • The flowers are stamped with Tuxedo Memento Black ink and colored with Stampin' Blends.  (Beginning with the 2020-2021 catalog, blends will only be available as a set of light & dark).
                  • The Hello is stamped with Old Olive ink and punched with the Tailored Tag Punch, and popped up with dimensionals.
                  • All done and remember to decorate your envelope.
