Happy Thanksgiving and Tags 4 You

I was browsing Pinterest the other day and came across this easy design, and knew right away I wanted to adapt it for my October 7th, 9th, and 11th, 2014, card and project classes.  If you don't want to make it a Happy Thanksgiving card, it's easy to stamp a different sentiment, and there you have it, whatever you want it to be.  The original card can be seen at Here, at Krystals Cards and More, post of November 14, 2013.

I used some current and retired supplies for this card, and just now realized the Tags 4 You stamp set is retired.  Oops!, I must be slipping.  Don't know how that got past me, though, I'm pretty sure it's going to be a hit at my October 2014 classes anyway.

I hold adult classes each month.  If you live near my home at 555 Williamsdale Road, Graham, NC 27253 and would like to attend any of my classes, please let me know.  Check out my October 2014 class schedule right here on my blog, or on my SU website found Here.

September 2014 Hostess Club Projects with Sketched Birthday, Blooming with Kindness and Snowflake Soiree

My hostess club meets the fourth Thursday evening of each month, and this month, our hostess, Karen Mabry, has chosen two techniques to show case.  So, everyone will make three cards, two cards using dryer sheets, and one using bubble wrap.  See, dryer sheets and bubble wrap are multi-use products.  Who knew, right?

The Believe card was made using a dryer sheet and the recently retired stamp set, Snowflake Soiree, though, any snowflake stamp will work just fine for this project, and if you would like to see a how-to video, please visit France Martin's blog found Here, post of September 5, 2010.  The Hope card was made using a dryer sheet and Blooming with Kindness, and the how-to video for this card can be found Here, post of July 13, 2012. The Happy Birthday card was made using bubble wrap and Sketched Birthday, and the video for this card can be found Here, post of June 3, 2012.

Recipe:   When you scroll to the end of this post, you will see I have listed all the supplies I used to make these cards.  If you would like to place an order, just click on the item you want and it will take you to my ordering page, or please feel free to contact me directly.

Hostess Club Goodies

My Hostess Club ladies are so wonderful and supportive, and I like to show how much I appreciate them. When I came across the pattern to make these upsized  boxes using the Envelope Punch Board, I thought it was a good way to showcase SU's new in-colors and new DSP.  Each of my sweet ladies received one of these cute little boxes at last months meeting.

The pattern came from Sam Donald's blog found Here.  She has a fantastic video tutorial, and for free too.

Wondrous Wreath Stamp Set Video by Stampin’ Up!

I wasn't a fan of Photopolymer, and now that's all I can talk about.  So easy to use, the stamps do not fall off the clear blocks, you can see right through the stamp, just like it was glass, and your finished card is near perfect.  Besides all that, Photopolymer is costs less than the clear mount rubber stamps.

I wanted to share with you a how-to video using the Wondrous Wreath Stamp set and the matching framelits.  I really think you're going to like it and should you want to place an order, please feel free to contact me directly, or order from my Stampin Up! website found Here.

Kinda Eclectic

Kinda Eclectic is a stamp set that is new in Stampin' Up!'s 2014-15 Catalog, and so versatile, I just had to have it.  There are so many cards and projects to be made with this set, and this is just one of them.  If you are planning to attend my September 4, 6, or 9th, 2014 classes, you will have the opportunity to make this beautiful card.  The card combination is Lost Lagoon and Blushing Bride, who would have thought!!

Recipe:   If you scroll to the end of this post, you will see I have listed all the supplies I used to make this card.  If you would like to place an order, just click on the item you want and it will take you to my ordering page, or please feel free to contact me directly.

Happy Halloween, Oldie but a Goodie

I prepare for my classes by putting together kits for each card, in addition to the sample I provide.  Usually, I over-prepare and have several kits left, and I just put them away for another time.  This is the case with my scary Halloween card.  It is a Joy-Fold card that I've pulled out of hibernation for my September 4, 6, and 9, 2014 classes.

Everything about this card is retired except for the Basic Black card stock, and the three circle punches, and I still think it's worthy of resurrecting for class, don't you?

If you haven't signed up yet, there is still time.  You can RSVP on my Stampin' Up! website found here.

Kind Koala

Don't you just want to smile when you see this cute little Koala bear?  Of course you do, and it goes without saying, a 'thinking of you' card is great for almost any occasion, right? In addition, this wood mounted stamp is just $9.95.  A real bargain, for sure.

Another offering for my September 4, 6, and 9, 2014 classes, and if you haven't signed up yet, there is still time.  You can RSVP on my Stampin' Up! website found here.
