I CASEd this Michelle Zindorff's creation because I thought it was perfect for my May 9th and 13th Creative Therapy Classes.  If you would like to see Michelle's card, click right Here.  She is amazing.

Recipe:

  • The base is an 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 piece of Tahitian Tide, scored at 4 1/4.
  • The 5 1/4 x 4 Basic White layer is embossed with the Fern 3D folder.
  • The one of the three 1/2" Tahitian Tide strips is stamped with black ink and then all are added to the card front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
  • The 3 1/8 x 2 3/8 piece of Basic White is stamped with Tuxedo Memento Black ink and colored with a Blender Pen & Watercolor Pencils.  The decorative border is made using the Very Best Trio punch. The edges are sponged with Tahitian Tide ink and a Blending Brush.  This piece is added to a 3 1/4 x 2 1/2 piece of Pear Pizzazz and four Iridescent Pearls are added to each corner.

  Taco Fiesta &
 Celebrate Sunflowers

A fun card I made for a very special friend.  Though some of the supplies I used are sold out, you can substitute many other stamps and papers, use this sketch, and get basically the same results.  It's fun either way.

Recipe:

  • The base is an 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 piece of Cherry Cobbler, scored at 4 1/4.
  • The Calypso Coral layer is 5 1/4 x 4.
  • The Calypso Coral Subtles Collection DSP is 5 x 3 3/4.
  • The Bermuda Bay and Basic White pieces are cut out with the Deckled Rectangles Dies.  The Basic White piece is stamped with Tuxedo Memento Black ink and colored with Stampin' Blends.
  • The Cherry Cobbler scalloped circle and the Basic White smooth circle are cut out with the Layering Circle dies.  The Basic White circle is sponged with Daffodil Delight ink and a Blending Brush.
  • The words, from Celebrate Sunflowers, are stamped with Tuxedo Memento Black ink on a 3 3/4 x 7/8 piece of Basic White and sponged with Daffodil Delight ink.  The 3 7/8 x 1 piece of Cherry Cobbler is the base for the white sponged piece.  The Banners Pick A Punch was used on both pieces, and all were popped up with dimensionals.
  • The little cactus and piƱata are stamped with black ink and cut out with my amazing SU Paper Snip Scissors and colored with blends.
  • I added some 1/4" Black & White Gingham Ribbon.
  • All done and remember to decorate your envelope.

Alphabest Bundle, Ladybug Builder & Medium Daisy Punches =Bee Happy

I offered this "happy" card at both of my April 2023 Creative Therapy Card Classes.  I actually designed this card last November; hence, the DSP is now retired.  However, you can substitute almost any DSP and change the color combination to what you like best.
The Alphabest Stamps & Punch bundle is so fun and versatile, and you can make any combination of letters and numbers.
The good news, it is going to be in the Stampin' Up! 2023-24 Catalog, only not as a bundle.  So purchase it by May 1, 2023, for a 10% discount.

Recipe:
  • The base is an 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 piece of Basic Black scored at 4 1/4.
  • The Crushed Curry layer is 5 1/4 x 4 and is embossed with the Hive 3D folder.  I added Black & White 1/4" Gingham Ribbon to this layer before I adhered it to the base.
  • The 4 1/4 x 3 1/4 Basic Black layer is the base for the 4 1/8 x 3 1/8 Basic White, and this piece is the base for the 4 x 3 Rustic Harvest DSP (retired).
  • The background for the letter pieces is stamped with Crushed Curry ink on Basic White.  The letters are stamped with Tuxedo Memento Black ink, and both of these stamps are from the Alphabest Bundle. These are popped up with Mini Dimensionals.
  • I used the Ladybug Builder punch, Basic Black, Crushed Curry & Vellum Cardstock to make my ladybug.
  • I punched two daisies from Basic White and added them to the card with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
  • I added one Matte Black Dot to the center of the Vellum.
  • All done and remember to decorate your envelope.
