Suite Sayings, Blessed by God, and Kinda Eclectic Easter Card for My March, 2016 classes

I used some retired and some new stamps and products to make this beautiful Easter card, and am excited to offer it at all of my March 1, March 3, and March 5, 2016 classes. If you live near me, please let me know you would like to attend.

Recipe:
  • The base is an 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 piece of Elegant Eggplant scored at  4 1/4.
  • The next layer is a 5 1/4 x 4 piece of Daffodil Delight.
  • The next layer is a 5 x 3 3/4 piece of Whisper White.
  • The "sun" from Kinda Eclectic was stamped with Daffodil Delight classic ink on the Whisper White card stock.
  • I do not have the stamp set, Blessed by God, so I used the cross from the retired stamp set, Three Crosses, and stamped the cross with Elegant Eggplant ink on Whisper White card stock, cut it out and put it on the card with dimensionals.
  • The words from Suite Sayings were stamped with Elegant Eggplant ink.
  • After I finished all of my stamping, I used my Big Shot die cutting machine, and the retired Framed Tulip embossing folder.
  • Remember to decorate your envelope, can't leave the house naked, right?
If you have any questions, let me know.

Easter Lamb, Birthday Blooms and Timeless Textures

When I want to use a stamp set to make a card, I usually begin by searching the internet, mostly Pinterest, just to see what others have made.  For this cutie, I could not find anything that said "Linda, I'm yours", so I did the next best thing, designed my own, and I'm "tickled pink".  I used two other sets, besides the Easter Lamb, Birthday Blooms and Timeless Textures.  So much fun, and I am offering this one at all of my March 1, March 3, and March 5, 2016 classes. So if you live near me, please let me know you would like to attend.

Recipe:
  • The base is an 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 piece of Mossy Meadow scored at  4 1/4.
  • The next layer is a 5 1/4 x 4 piece of Mint Macaron.
  • The next layer is a 5 x 3 3/4 piece of Whisper White.
  • A 1 x 3 3/4 piece of Birthday Bouquet DSP and was glued to the Whisper White piece with snail adhesive.
  • I used Mint Macaron, and Blushing Bride classic ink to stamp the images on the Whisper White piece.
  • I stamped the lamb on a separate piece of Whisper White card stock with Tuxedo Memento black ink, and cut it out with my Big Shot and the Circle Framelits Dies.
  • I used the Circle Framelits Dies (the next size up) from Blushing Bride card stock.  I adhered the lamb to the Blushing Bride circle piece.
  • I colored the little lamb with Mint Macaron, Pink Pirouette and Smoky Slate markers, before I glued the Blushing Bride combo to the card with dimensionals.
  • I glued the Whisper White piece to the Mint Macaron piece, and wrapped some Blushing Bride Bakers Twine around this combination before I glued it to the Mossy Meadow base.
  • Remember to decorate your envelope, can't leave the house naked, right?
If you have any questions, let me know.

Grateful Bunch, Blossom Bunch Punch and Teeny Tiny Wishes

You can find the wonderful stamp set I used for this card, Grateful Bunch, on page 22 of the Stampin' Up! Occasion's Mini, and the coordinating Blossom Bunch Punch is an added bonus.  One of the stamps in the set looks like lace, don't you think?  I like to make cards that can be used for almost any occasion, and I think this one does exactly that.  I am offering this one at all of my March 1, March 3, and March 5, 2016 classes.  So if you live near me, I hope you will plan to attend.

Recipe:
  • The base is an 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 piece of Soft Suede, scored at  4 1/4.
  • The next layer is a 5 1/4 x 4 piece of Mint Macron.
  • The next layer is a 5 x 3 3/4 piece of Very Vanilla.
  • A 1 x 5 piece of Pretty Petals DSP Stack was glued to the Very Vanilla piece with snail adhesive.
  • The images were stamped on the Very Vanilla piece.
  • I stamped the flowers from Grateful Bunch on a separate piece of Very Vanilla card stock with Delightful Dijon classic ink, and punched them out with the Blossom Bunch Punch.  I adhered them to the card with dimensionals and glue dots.
  • I used Teeny Tiny Wishes and Soft Suede classic ink for my sentiment on Very Vanilla card stock.
  • I punched out the sentiment with the Word Window punch, and backed the words with a retired Modern Label Punch, and Soft Suede card stock.
  • I wrapped some Linen Thread around the card before I glued the Very Vanilla/Mint Macron combo to the Soft Suede base.
  • Remember to decorate your envelope, can't leave the house naked, right?

This is the birthday card I made for my sweet granddaughter, Georgia Anne.  She is a fan of Disney's Frozen, adores Elsa and Anna, and of course Olaf.  I didn't know where to begin, so of course, I found him on YouTube.  So much fun, for sure.  If you have any questions, please let me know.

Botanical Blooms and Botanical Gardens Designer Vellum

I used the Botanical Blooms Photopolymer Bundle and the Botanical Gardens Designer Vellum to create this card.  I saw this beauty on Amy K's blog, post of January 20, 2016, and you can see her card Here.  I just couldn't resist this one, and I decided to offer it at all of my March 1, March 3, and March 5, 2016 classes.

Recipe:
  • I took a 5 x 3 3/4 piece of Mossy Meadow card stock, stamped it with a leaf from the Botanical Blooms stamp set in Mossy Meadow classic ink.  I then die cut it with a die from the Botanical Builder Framelits dies and set aside.
  • I glued a piece of 5 x 3 3/4 Botanical Gardens Designer Vellum to a 5 x 3 3/4 piece of Pear Pizzazz card stock.
  • I glued this combination to a 5 1/4 x 4 piece of Early Espresso card stock.
  • Then glued this combo to an 11 x 4 1/4 piece of Pear Pizzazz scored at 5 1/2.
  • Next I glued the Mossy Meadow piece to the front of the card.
  • I cut two flowers from the Botanical Builder Framelits dies. The larger one in Calypso Coral, and the small one in Daffodil Delight card stock.  I adhered them to the card front with glue dots.
  • I put an Iced Rhinestone Embellishment in the middle of the flower, all done.
  • Remember to decorate your envelope, can't leave the house naked, right?
If you have any questions, let me know.

Bear Hugs Valentine's Gifts

These are little gifts I made for all those who attended my February 2016 classes.  Aren't they so cute.  The pattern came from Kelly Acheson at A Stamp Above.  You can see her video on YouTube, post of October 15, 2015 Here, and scroll down a little and click on the link.  I used my new Bear Hugs stamp set, matching Framelits, and some, very old, retired Stampin' Up! DSP, Sending Love .

  • I glued this combo to a 5 x 3 3/4 layer of Hello Honey dsp.
  • I glued this to a 5 1/4 x 4 piece of Basic Black card stock.
  • I glued this combo to an 11 x 4 1/4 piece of Tangelo Twist card stock, scored at 5 1/2

  • I used snail to glue him over the image on the white card stock.  Colored his beak with the Tangelo Twist marker.
  • I stamped the word Hello in Tuxedo Memento black ink, and I used my Stamp-a-ma-jig to line up the words.
  • I used a piece of It's my Party Washi Tape and wrapped it around the white card stock bookmark, then used snail and glued the white book mark to the black bookmark.
  • I threaded some retired thick bakers twine thru the hole in top of the bookmark
  • I used dimensionals to adhere the finished bookmark to my card front

A Dozen Thoughts, Bloomin' Love, and Bloomin' Heart Thinlits Dies

The Bloomin' Heart Thinlits Dies are easy to use, versatile, and the results are amazing with the Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer paper.  This is such an intricate die, and after I cut out the heart, it took me just seconds to remove the small cut pieces when I used SU's new Big Shot Die Brush.  Thank you SU for offering a very useful tool.

I am excited to offer this card at all of my February 2, February 4, and February 6, 2016 classes.
Recipe:
  • The layer of Wisteria Wonder is 5 x 3 3/4 and I glued it to a 5 1/4 x 4 piece of Whisper White card stock.
  • I wrapped a piece of Lost Lagoon (retired) and Whisper White ribbon around this combo piece, and glued this to an 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 piece of Lost Lagoon card stock base, that was scored at 4 1/4.  I tied a small loose knot with the Lost Lagoon ribbon and used a glue dot to adhere it to the base ribbon.
  • I used the Big Shot, the Bloomin' Heart Thinlits Dies and Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer paper to cut out the heart.
  • I glued the heart to my Wisteria Wonder card stock with Tombow Multipurpose liquid glue.
  • I stamped the small flowers from the Bloomin' Love stamp set on Whisper White card stock with Blackberry Bliss, Elegant Eggplant, Lost Lagoon, and Rich Razzleberry classic ink, and cut them out using the Big Shot and the Bloomin' Heart Thinlits Dies.
  • I adhered the small flowers to the heart with glue dots.
  • I used the Stamp-a-ma-jig to align my words from A Dozen Thoughts and used Blackberry Bliss classic ink.
  • Remember to decorate your envelope, can't leave the house naked, right?
