Celebrate You Thinlits Dies, and the Sliding Door Framelits Dies
I saw the card on the top of this post on Mary Fish's blog, Stampin' Pretty, and I decided to make my own version, and had fun in the process. You can see Mary's card Here post of January 13, 2018.
The second card utilizes the free Bubbles & Fizz DSP you can get for free during Sale-a-Bration with a $50.00 purchase.  Free is wonderful, right?  Hurry though, the sale ends March 31, 2018.

Recipe:
  • The bases are 8 1/2 x 5 1/2  pieces of Melon Mambo or Lemon Lime Twist scored at 4 1/4.
  • The 5 1/4 x 4 layers are Whisper White or Calypso Coral.
  • The Bubbles & Fizz or Petal Passion DSP layers are 5 x 3 3/4.
  • The Dazzling Diamonds glimmer paper (under the cutouts is 3 3/4 x 2 3/4.  I glued the glimmer paper to my DSP with Tombow liquid glue.
  • The centers of the 4 1/4 x 3 1/4 pieces of either Bermuda Bay or Melon Mambo are cut out with one of the Sliding Door Dies.  I used dimensionals on the back of these frames to adhere to my glimmer paper.
  • The word Celebrate is cut out with Melon Mambo cardstock, or Bubbles & Fizz DSP.  The word You is cut out with Basic Black or Calypso Coral cardstock.  I put the new Mini Dimensionals behind the word cutouts, because I have found that any other kind of adhesive does not adhere to glimmer paper.
  • The bow is made with black bakers twine, or the free Sale-a-Bration Calypso Coral ribbon.
  • I used a stamp from Birthday Blooms for the inside sentiment.
  • Don't forget to decorate your envelope.
  • All done!!!

Picture Perfect Birthday Stamp Set,
True Gentleman DSP & Pick a Pattern DSP
This fun sketch can be used for many stamp sets, so when I saw LeeAnn Greff's card on her blog, I decided I would add a layer or two, of course, you know, to make it my own.  You can see her card Here, post of February 7, 2018.

Recipe:
  • The bases are 8 1/2 x 5 1/2  pieces of either Chocolate Chip or Basic Black, scored at 4 1/4.
  • The Very Vanilla layer and the Crushed Curry layer is 5 1/4 x 4. The Crushed Curry layer is dry embossed with the Oh My Stars EF.
  • The Tranquil Tide layer is 5 x 3 3/4 and is dry embossed with one of the Petal Pair embossing folders. (top card).
  • The DSP is 2 x 3 5/8 and 1 1/2 x 5 1/8.  The flags are punched out with the Banner Triple Punch.
  • The 4 x 3 layer of either Night of Navy or Bermuda Bay are the bases under the 3 7/8 x 2 7/8  pieces of either Very Vanilla or Whisper White.
  • The bows and confetti are stamped with Night of Navy and Tranquil Tide (top card), and Bermuda Bay and Crushed Curry (bottom card)
  • The words are stamped in Chocolate Chip (top card), and Tuxedo Black Memento.
  • For the top card, I stamped a third bow, cut it out with my Paper Snips, and glued it to my card with Mini Dimensionals,
  • For the bottom card, I added three Basic Jewels.
  • Don't forget to decorate your envelope.
  • All done!!!

Party Pandas,
One Big Meaning and
Lots of Love

Party Pandas is a cute stamp set you can earn for free with any SU purchase of $50.00 or more.  I CASEd (Copy And Share Everything) this card from Judy May's blog, and you can see her card Here, post of January 31, 2018.  In my card making world, I believe that to CASE another's design is the highest form of compliment, and thank you, Judy, for sharing.
Recipe:
  • The base is an 8 1/2 x 5 1/2  piece of Pacific Point scored at 4 1/4.
  • The Lemon Lime Twist layer is 5 1/4 x 4.
  • The message on the 5 x 3 3/4 layer of Whisper White is stamped with Pacific Point ink before I dry embossed it with the Scattered Sequins EF.
  • I used a 1 1/2" circle punch for the 3 circle holes.  I stamped the pandas with Black Archival ink on Whisper White cardstock, and cut them out with my Paper Snips.  The bears are glued behind the holes before I glued the base layer to my card.  After I glued my base layer to my card, I used a mini-dimensional behind their little heads and the balloon.
  • I used my paper snips to cut flags in my 1/2 x 1 pieces of Tutti Fruiti and Birthday Memories DSP and glued them to the card with Tombow Liquid Glue.  The bow is made with Bakers Twine.
  • Don't forget to decorate your envelope.
  • All done!!!

Friendship's Sweetest Thoughts
I received this card from my very creative friend, Michelle Wallace, and wanted to share the stamp set, Friendship's Sweetest Thoughts.  This is a "sweet" set (get it, sweet!) in the 2018 Occasions Catalog by Stampin' Up!  This set will be available for purchase until May 31, 2018, as well as the embossing folder Michelle used to make this card.
I especially like sets that meets my requirements-and this set says "Yes, you can make cards for seven different occasions, so please buy me".  At least that is what I tell my husband.😉

Recipe:
  • The base is a 8 1/2 x 5 1/2  piece of Calypso Coral, scored at 4 1/4.
  • The Whisper White layer is 5 1/4 x 4.
  • The Chocolate Chip layer is 5 x 3 3/4, and is dry embossed with the Pinewood Planks Embossing Folder.
  • The 4 x 3 Calypso Coral rectangle layer is the base under the 3 3/4 x 2 3/4 piece of Whisper White.
  • The cart is stamped on Whisper White with Early Espresso ink, and colored with Watercolor pencils and a Blender Pen, and cut out with one of the Layering Oval Framelits.
  • Linen Thread is wrapped around the above combination before all is glued to the card front.
  • The words are stamped with Early Espresso ink on Whisper White and glued to a 1 x 3 piece of Calypso Coral.  The tails are cut with Paper Snips.  (did I mention the best scissors, ever!!)
  • Don't forget to decorate your envelope.
  • All done!!!

Hold onto Hope &
Cross of Hope Framelits Dies
Hold onto Hope is such a beautiful set, and it coordinates so well with the Cross of Hope Framelilts Dies.  I have used this set and the dies many times, for occasions like thinking of you, sympathy, get well, and hey, it's not even Easter yet.

Recipe:
  • The base is an 8 1/2 x 5 1/2  piece of Rich Razzleberry scored at 4 1/4.
  • The Whisper White layer is 5 1/4 x 4.
  • The Old Olive strips are: 2 @ 1 x 4 1/4 and 2 @ 1 x 3.
  • The Sweet Soiree' DSP strips are: 2 @ 7/8 x 4 1/8 and 2 @ 7/8 x 2 7/8.
  • The white space on which I stamped my cross in Rich Razzleberry ink is 2 x 3 1/4.  You probably didn't need to know that info, just thought I'd throw that in.😊
  • I cut out the cross with Silver Foil and glued it over my stamped cross with a Fine-Tip Glue pen.
  • The banner is stamped with Rich Razzleberry ink on Whisper White cardstock, and the butterfly is stamped with Daffodil Delight ink on Whisper White cardstock, and both are cut out with dies from the Cross of Hope Framelits. They are both glued to the card with dimensionals.
  • Don't forget to decorate your envelope.
  • All done!!!

Eastern  Medallion Sunflower
The Eastern Medallion stamp set and coordinating thinlits dies make beautiful cards, and a sunflower is one idea of many.  I CASEd (Copy And Share Everything), this card from Patty Bennett's blog, and you can see her card Here, post of May 4, 2017.  She is a super talented lady.
My card uses the Eastern Gold Vinyl Stickers, like Patty's, the only problem, you can't really see the beauty of them.  Must be the camera, couldn't possibly be the photographer. 😊
Recipe:
  • The base is a 8 1/2 x 5 1/2  piece of Chocolate Chip, scored at 4 1/4.
  • The Daffodil Delight layer is 5 1/4 x 4.
  • The Whisper White layer is 5 x 3 3/4 and I stamped my words with Early Espresso ink before I dry embossed it with the Layered Leaves Dynamic folder.
  • The leaves and little die cut across the bottom of the card front are cut out with the Big Shot and the Flourishing Thinlits Dies.  I used a Fine-Tip Glue Pen to adhere them to the card.
  • The sunflower is made with the Eastern Medallion, and Layering Circle dies, and a 1 1/4" circle punch. I glued everything together with Tombow Liquid adhesive, and used dimensionals to pop up my flower.
  • Don't forget to decorate your envelope.
  • All done!!!
