Hostess Club Project-Mix & Match Box with Cards

This is the project for my March 2013 Hostess Club Members.  It is a box of three cards with matching envelopes and three punched tags for any occasion.

Anyone would love to receive this box of cards, whether they are a seasoned stamper or they do not want to make their own greeting cards (say it isn't so!!), and still wants to send personal, one-of-a-kind, hand crafted cards.

This pattern came from Lee Ann Greff at:  www.flowerbug.typepad.com.  Check out this tutorial and others she has for sale, they are definitely worth your time and your dollars.  Very easy to follow instructions too.

Thank you for stopping by and have a great day,

Raining Flowers

I saw this card on www.SplitCoastStampers.com, (SCS), and said WOW, this is gorgeous.  It was designed by Elizabeth Hurst and if you want to see her original card, look for Raining Flowers or Embossed Happiness in SCS's search engine.

Sometime ago I bought every color embossing powder SU has in the catalog, and when I saw this card, I was so glad I already had the powders.  I loved the way this card turned out,  I just had to be careful and not mix up my embossing powders.

Recipe:
Stamps:  Raining Flowers, Perfectly Penned;
Paper:  Tempting Turquoise, Basic Black;
Ink:  Versamark;
Accessories:  Tangerine Tango, Wild Wasabi, Melon Mambo, and Tempting Turquoise embossing powders, Embossing Buddy, Heat Tool, Powder Pals, Melon Mambo Polka Dotted ribbon, dimensionals.

If you would like to order any of the supplies to make this card, please feel free to contact me directly, or shop in my SU on-line store 24/7 Here

Just Believe with Bleach

This card is way prettier in person, honest, it is.  I used the Just Believe stamp, inked it up with bleach, yes, I said bleach, then stamped on Island Indigo cardstock.   Next, I put some bleach in a spritzer bottle and misted the cardstock, just a little.  Don't you think it appears to have a cosmo effect?   The butterflies were stamped with Island Indigo ink on So Saffron cardstock, and punched out with SU's new butterfly punches

I am offering this technique at my April 2nd, 4th, and 13th classes.  If you live in or near Graham, NC,  please let me know you'd like to attend, I would love to have you.

Recipe:  Stamps:  Just Believe, You are Loved, Papillon Potpourri;  Paper:  Whisper White, Wild Wasabi, Island Indigo, So Saffron;   Ink:  Island Indigo;  Accessories:  Elegant Butterfly and Bitty Butterfly punches, Spritzer bottle, bleach, glass plate, paper towels, dimensionals.

If you would like to place an order for the supplies to make this card, you may contact me directly at:  angelsofjoy@gmail.com, or by phone at:  336-538-4996, or order 24/7 at my on-line store Here

French Foliage and Blooming with Kindness

I combined Blooming with Kindness and French Foliage, and look what I got.  You can see the original card on Sandi MacIver's blog here.  She used a spritizing technique, and I tried it, guess I wasn't patient enough, I could not get my flower to look right.  Sandi does an excellent job explaining how to make her version, so please take a look at her card.
Supplies:  Stamps:  French Foliage, Blooming with Kindness;  Paper:  Early Espresso and Natural Ivory cardstock;  Ink:  Early Espresso, More Mustard, Versamark, Cajun Craze and Cherry Cobbler markers;  Accessories:  Cherry Cobbler embossing powder, Linen Thread.
I made my card by stamping the flower in Versamark and embossed it with Cherry Cobbler embossing powder.  I did the same for the two leaves, popped them up with dimensionals and added a bow made with linen thread.
If you have any questions, please let me know, and thank you for stopping by and have a great day,
Linda
