Lovely is the Day, Painted Glass & Dies

I found an unfinished card the other day, and said to myself, because there wasn't anyone here, "you really need to finish the gazillion projects you have laying around".  So here is just one of the many.

Three of the items I used to make this card are on sale, and should you want to purchase any of the supplies I used to make it, I would be honored if you chose me as your demonstrator, and placed your order in my on-line store, HERE

Recipe: (building from base)
  • The base is an 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 piece of Call Me Clover (retiring, 5/31/2020), scored at 4 1/4.
  • The Call Me Clover layer is 5 1/4 x 4, and is embossed with the Tufted 3D Folder (retiring, 5/31/2020).
  • The Whisper White piece is 3 1/2 x 2 1/2, and is the base for 3 Stained Glass Call Me Clover die cutouts (retiring 5/31/2020).
  • The flowers, from Lovely is the Day, (retiring), on top of the cutouts are stamped with Tuxedo Memento Black ink on Whisper White and cut out with the Lovely Leaves Dies (also retiring). The colors on the flowers are stamped with Blushing Bride, Pineapple Punch, and Rococo Rose.  The leaves are stamped with Old Olive ink.
  • The words from Very Versailles are stamped with Call Me Clover ink, (retiring), on a 5 1/8 x 1 piece of Soft Sea Foam, which is sponged with Call Me Clover ink.  The base is a 5 1/4 x 1 1/8 piece of Flirty Flamingo, and both ends are punched with the Banner Triple Punch. Side note:  My next card will have a more narrow strip for the words, just sayin'.
  • The butterfly, from Stained Glass (retiring), is stamped on Whisper White and colored with blends. By the way, when the 2019-20 catalog ends, the Blends will only be offered in pairs, not singles.
  • Four small Basic Pearls are added.
  • All done and remember to decorate your envelope.
To order any of the supplies used to make these cards, please click Right Here to place your order in my on-line store.  Or, you can click on the 2019-20 catalog right here on my blog.

          Ornate Garden
          & Well Written Dies
I experimented with a technique that I came across on YouTube.  It's from Randi's Crafty Creations, and you can see Randi's video Here.
Don't be surprised that my card is almost identical to Randi's.  I am so use to having my two besties here to help me design, I'm spoiled, therefore, I CASE. (Copy And Share Everything).
I do hope you like my card though.

Should you want to purchase any of the supplies I used to make this card, I would be honored if you chose me as your demonstrator, and placed your order in my on-line store, HERE

          Recipe: (building from base)
          • The base is an 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 piece of Terracotta Tile, scored at 4 1/4.
          • The Mint Macaron layer is 5 1/4 x 4.
          • The 5 x 3 3/4 layer of Whisper White is the base for the strips of the Ornate Garden DSP.
          • The Layering Oval Dies are cut out with Early Espresso, Gold Foil, Terracotta Tile and Whisper White.
          • The flower is stamped with Tuxedo Memento Black ink and colored with Blends.
          • The word is stamped on a 3 x 1/2 piece of Whisper White, and the flag is cut with my handy-dandy Paper Snips.
          • The words miss and you are cut out with the Well Written Dies.
          • Three small Basic Pearls are added.
          • All done and remember to decorate your envelope.

Beautiful Moments, & Friend Like You
I combined two stamp sets to make this card, and actually got the idea from Kym McCutcheon on Pinterest.  I changed the card stock colors, and the Designer Series Papers (DSP), you know, to make it my own.

Should you want to purchase any of the supplies I used to make this card, I would be honored if you chose me as your demonstrator, and placed your order in my on-line store, HERE

                    Recipe: (building from base)
                    • The base is an 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 piece of Soft Suede, scored at 4 1/4.
                    • The Petal Pink layer is 5 1/4 x 4.
                    • The Bird Ballad DSP layer is 5 x 3 3/4.
                    • A 4 x 2 3/4 piece of Soft Suede is cut out with one of the Stitched Rectangles Dies, and is the base for the 3 3/4 x 2 3/8 piece of Shimmery White on which my image is stamped with Tuxedo Memento Black ink.
                    • My image is colored with Petal Pink & Daffodil Delight ink and a Blender Pen.  I sponged some Balmy Blue ink as a little background.
                    • The Flowers/Grass are cut out with Old Olive card stock and one of the Friendly Silhouettes Dies and then again with Petal Pink card stock. I cut some of flowers off of the Petal Pink cut out to use as flowers on the Old Olive grass.
                    • The Petal Pink Organdy Ribbon is tucked behind the DSP and Petal Pink layers.
                    • The words are stamped with Soft Suede ink on Shimmery White and cut out with the smallest circle from the Stitched Shaped Dies.
                    • The Petal Pink cutout is from the Stitched So Sweetly dies. These two pieces are adhered together with Multipurpose Liquid Glue, and both are popped up with dimensionals.
                    • Three small Basic Pearls are added.
                    • All done and remember to decorate your envelope.

Ornate Garden Suite & Good Morning Magnolia
So my two, very talented assistants cannot be here to help me design, so I tend to resort to CASEing a card.  (Copy And Share Everything), which is actually a compliment.  I try to change it up some, you know, to make it my own.
Tammy Wilson posted a similar card on her blog, and you can see her card Here.  You even might want to see her other designs while you are there.  Tammy is very talented.
The Ornate Garden Bundle Suite is available for purchase, and is sorta like a "pre-order", because this bundle suite will be in the 2020-21 catalog, and you can purchase it now.  Yeah!!

Should you want to make a purchase, I would be honored if you chose me as your demonstrator, and placed your order in my on-line store, HERE

                        Recipe: (building from base)
                        • The base is an 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 piece of Terracotta Tile, scored at 4 1/4.
                        • The Ornate Garden DSP layer is 5 x 3 3/4.
                        • The Whisper White layer is 4 3/4 x 3 3/4 and is embossed with the Ornate Floral 3D embossing folder.
                        • The next Ornate Garden DSP layer, and the Whisper White are cut out with the dies from the Ornate Layers Dies.
                        • The 2 5/8 x 1 1/4 Whisper White rectangle is the base for the 2 1/2 x 1 1/8 Ornate Garden DSP.
                        • The words from Good Morning Magnolia are heat embossed with white embossing powder on Basic Black cardstock, and adhered with dimensionals.  The words, Enjoy Today, are cut out with the Classic Label Punch and cut apart.
                        • The Gold Glimmer flowers are cut out with an Ornate Borders Die.  A Gilded Gem is added to the center of each flower.
                        • The Ornate Garden Ribbon bow is adhered with two glue dots.
                        • All done and remember to decorate your envelope.
