 Irresistible Blooms Bundle

My take on a card found on Page 6 of the 2023-24 catalog.
I enjoy the challenge of casing cards from the Stampin' Up! catalogs.   The designers who work for SU are so talented and creative, and it's fun figuring out how the card was made, and the products used.

Recipe:
  • The 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 base of Pool Party is scored at 4 1/4.  Set aside.
  • The layer of Pretty Peacock is 5 1/4 x 4.
  • I used Pretty Peacock and one of the Irresistible Blooms dies to cut out the "unusual" design and added it to the Pretty Peacock at an angle.  Trim the extra to be even with the 4" width of the card layer.
  • The word, hello, is stamped on a 4 1/4 x 1 piece of Basic White with Pretty Peacock ink (stamp closer to the right so your flower will not cover your word).  Line this stamped Basic White piece under the angled Pretty Peacock "unusual" design and adhere.  Trim the edges to be even with the 4" width.
  • The 4 1/2 x 2 1/2 Hello Irresistible DSP is adhered under the Basic White, and again, cut off the excess paper.
  • Adhere to the Pool Party base.
  • To make the flower & leaves:
    • Leaves: use Soft Sea Foam ink on Basic White and cut out with dies.  Cut out three more leaves with Soft Sea Foam cardstock.
    • Flower: stamp Moody Mauve ink on Basic White and cut out with dies.
    • Cut out another flower with Petal Pink cardstock and add it behind the stamped flower.
    • Assemble, add a Moody Mauve dot to the center of the flower, and add all to the card with dimensionals.
  • All done and remember to decorate your envelope.
