Catching Butterflies, & Inspiring Canopy for my February 2022 Classes

I am offering both of these cards at my February 8th and 12th, 2022 classes.  So much fun playing with the Butterflies & Flowers masks.  So easy and economical to make your own background with the variety of masks that Stampin' Up! has to offer.
I used Catching Butterflies for the words, and it is a stamp set you can get for FREE for ordering $50.00 in product during Sale-a-Bration (SAB) until February 28, 2022.

Recipe:
  • The bases are 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 pieces of Gorgeous Grape scored at 4 1/4.
  • The Real Red layers are 5 1/4 x 4.
  • The Basic White layers are 5 x 3 3/4 and are sponged with the Butterflies & Flowers Masks and Blushing Bride ink.
  • I attached the trees from the Inspiring Canopy dies with Mini-Dimensionals.
  • The red hearts from the Floral Heart Dies are added with mini-glue dots.
  • The words are stamped on Basic White with Gorgeous Grape ink and cut out with one of the Meadow Dies.
  • All done!!  Now, how easy is that.  And remember to decorate your envelope.

Catching Butterflies and Floral Hearts Dies for Valentine's Day
Combining a few of the new products from Stampin' Up! to make a pretty Valentine's Day Card.
Recipe:
  • The base is an 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 piece of Highland Heather, scored at 4 1/4.
  • The Real Red layer is 5 1/4 x 4 and is embossed with one of the Dotty Hearts folders.
  • The Sweet Talk DSP and the Vellum pieces are 5 1/4 x 3.
  • The Basic White Floral Hearts Die cutout is adhered to the card with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
  • I punched a heart with some of the Sweet Talk DSP and one of the punches from the Heart Punch Pack.  I stamped the heart with Real Red ink and a stamp from a Sale-a-Bration set, Catching Butterflies, and popped up this heart with dimensionals.
  • I then added to the heart I had punched with Sweet Talk DSP three little Real Red hearts cut out with one of the Floral Hearts Dies.  To finish, I added three Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the centers of the baby hearts.  It made it a whole lot easier to add the glue dots and jewels to the hearts, because I used my Take Your Pick Tool.  Just sayin'
  • All done!!  Now, how easy is that.  And remember to decorate your envelope.

Grassy Grove, Abstract Beauty DSP & Painted Labels Dies

Grassy Grove is an awesome bundle, and the dies are an added bonus.  I didn't need to use the dies for this card, I wanted to keep it simple.
I also used a piece of the Abstract Beauty DSP.  There are 48 sheets of 4 x 6 paper in the pack, so think how many beautiful, easy cards one can make with this paper stock.  Just sayin'

Recipe:
  • The base is an 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 piece of Just Jade scored at 4 1/4.
  • The Misty Moonlight layer is 5 1/4 x 4.
  • The Abstract Beauty DSP layer is 5 x 3 3/4.  I stamped the trees with Shaded Spruce, and the hills/rocks with Early Espresso.
  • I stamped the words with Early Espresso on Basic White and cut this piece out with a Painted Label Die.  I sponged the edges with a little Just Jade ink.
  • I cut out another Painted Label die from Misty Moonlight, cut it in half horizontally and glued it to the back of the stamped Basic White, to appear there is a small frame behind the white.  Popped this combo up with dimensionals.
  • All done!!  Now, how easy is that.  And remember to decorate your envelope.
Should you want to order any of the supplies I used to make this card, please just click Right Here to place your in my on-line store, or you can click on the 2021-22 catalog right here on my blog.

 In the Moment &

 Friendly Hello DSP

http://

Having fun using some of the products in the 2022 Spring Mini catalog, and the Sale-a-Bration mini.

Recipe:
  • The base is an 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 piece of Basic Black scored at 4 1/4.
  • The Sahara Sand layer is 5 1/4 x 4.
  • The Petal Pink layer is 5 x 3 3/4 and is embossed with the Brick & Mortar 3D folder.
  • I cut out a 4 x 4 piece of Basic White and a 4 x 4 piece of the Friendly Hello DSP with the largest Stitched Triangle die.  (The Friendly Hello DSP is part of a DSP & Stamp set bundle for free when you spend $100 during Sale-a-Bration, which ends February 28, 2022).
  • I stamped my sweet, relaxing Sarah with Tuxedo Memento Black ink on the white triangle.  I also stamped the same image on a scrap piece of the Friendly Hello DSP.  I cut out Sarahs pants and top (from the DSP) with my handy-dandy Paper Snips, adhered this to Sarah, and colored the rest of her with Stampin' Blends.  See the link below for all the colors I used.  This technique is called Paper Piecing.
  • I adhered both of the triangles to the embossed Petal Pink with Multipurpose liquid glue.
  • I stamped the words on a 1 3/4 x 1 1/4 piece of Basic White with Tuxedo Memento Black ink and backed this piece with a 1 1 7/8 x 1 3/8 piece of Basic Black.  I popped up the word combo with Dimensionals.
  • All done!!  Now, how easy is that.  And remember to decorate your envelope.
