Googly Ghouls

Ghirardelli Chocolate Holder

These little candy holders were a big hit in my August 2012 classes.  Everyone who made one said they were very easy to put together.

Owl Padfolios

I took a 8 x 5 notepad of paper and covered it with a little dsp, and some ribbon.  Ends up making a cute, functional and economical gift too.

July 2012 Hostess Club Projects


For our July, 2012 hostess club project we made cards using the Shaving Cream Technique, and it was a lot of fun, rubber gloves and all. 
The tutorial for this technique can be found on www.splitcoaststampers.com and on Youtube as well. 
Recipe:  Top card:  Stamps:  The Open Sea, Teeny Tiny Wishes;  Paper:  Marina Mist, Not Quite Navy, Whisper White cardstock;  Ink:  Marina Mist, Not Quite Navy and Bashful Blue reinkers, Not Quite Navy classic stamp pad;  Accessories:  Regal Brads, Spritzer Tool, Mat Pack and Paper Piercer, Whisper White Bakers Twine, Shaving Cream (the most inexpensive you can find), styrofoam plate (or tin foil), wooden stick (to stir the reinker ink into the shaving cream), dimensionals. 
Bottom Card:  Stamps:  Delightful Decorations, Teeny Tiny Wishes; Paper:  Real Red, Old Olive and Whisper White cardstock; Ink:  Real Red and Old Old reinkers, Real Red classic stamp pad; Accessories:  Modern Label, Word Window, Ornament and Scallop Trim Border punches, Petals a Plenty embossing folder, Jewels, Shaving Cream (the most inexpensive you can find), styrofoam plate (or tin foil), wooden stick (to stir the reinker ink into the shaving cream), dimensionals.
