 Notes of Nature Bundle

The new Notes of Nature bundle is awesome.  So many possibilities, so little time.  You can find this bundle in the 2024 Spring Mini Catalog by Stampin' Up!

Recipe:
  • The 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 base of Pretty Peacock is scored at 4 1/4.
  • The 5 1/4 x 4 Lost Lagoon is embossed with the Exposed Brick 3D folder, and I used a Blending Brush and Pretty Peacock ink to give it an antique look.
  • The next Pretty Peacock layer is 4 7/8 x 3 3/8 and is the base for the 4 3/4 x 3 1/4 Crumb Cake.
  • The Crumb Cake layer is stamped with Crumb Cake ink.  The holes are cut out with a Notes of Nature die.
  • The leaves are cut out with Pretty Peacock and Lost Lagoon cardstock.  The little colored leaf is stamped with Lost Lagoon ink on Very Vanilla cardstock and colored with a Water Painter and Lost Lagoon ink.
  • The 3 x 2 1/2 Very Vanilla is stamped with Crumb Cake ink.  The little flower is stamped with Crumb Cake ink on Crumb Cake cardstock.
  • All done, and remember to decorate your envelope.

 Sending Smiles Stamps & Dies

The Stampin' Up! Catalog is filled with many fantastic examples and samples of cards.  You can find the card from which I copied on Page 26 of the 2023-24 Catalog.
I did add two extra layers, and basically it is about the same as the one the SU designer made for the catalog.

Recipe:
  • The 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 base of Parakeet Party is scored at 4 1/4.
  • The Boho Blue layer is 5 1/4 x 4.
  • The piece of Delightfully Eclectic Designer Series Paper is 5 x 3 3/4.
  • The Basic White is cut from the largest of the rounded rectangle die from the Nested Essentials Dies.
  • The flowers are stamped with Daffodil Delight & Night of Navy centers.  The leaves are stamped with Parakeet Party.  Both cut out with the Sending Dies.
  • The large word, "Sending", is cut out with Basic White that has been added to a piece of a Foam Sheet, and the Night of Navy "Sending" is cut out and added to the large white "Sending" with a Fine Tip Glue Pen.
  • The "Birthday Wishes" are stamped with Night of Navy on a 1 7/8 x 1/2 piece of Basic White.
  • All done and remember to decorate your envelope.

Country Bouquet for my February 2024 Creative Therapy Classes
I used the Most Adored DSP for this card, and by cutting it at an angle you get to see both sides of the paper.  So many possibilities so little time.  This paper is FREE with an order of at least $50.00 during Sale-a-Bration until February 29, 2024.

All will be making this beautiful Valentine's card at my February 2024 classes.  Once again, I am excited to share.

Recipe:
  • The Real Red base is 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 scored at 4 1/4.
  • The 5 1/4 x 4 piece of some Most Adored DSP is cut on a diagonal and adhered to the Real Red with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
  • The next 4 5/8 x 3 1/4 Real Red layer is the base for the 4 1/2 x 3 1/8 Basic White.
  • The Basic White is stamped with Mossy Meadow, Granny Apple Green, and Real Red inks.
  • I made stripped hearts by using one of the heart stamps from the Country Bouquet set, Real Red ink, and Basic White cardstock.  I punched the hearts with the Country Bouquet punch.
  • The second heart is punched from the Most Adored DSP.
  • The red glimmer heart is from some retired SU paper.
  • All done and remember to decorate your envelope.
