 Sweet Jar

I saw Jennifer Cotton's Sweet Jar card on her blog-The Stamp Therapist-post of June 12, 2025, and you can see her card Here.  She has a video as well.
Thank you for stopping by and have a wonderful day.

Recipe:
  • The base of Gorgeous Grape cardstock is 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 and scored at 4 1/4.
  • The 5 1/4 x 4 layer of Basic White is embossed with the retired Crosshatch folder, and I sponged it with some Highland Heather ink.
  • The white circle is cut from the largest of the Stylish Shapes Dies, and is the base for the Fresh Freesia, which is cut from a Deckled Circle die.
  • The jar is stamped with black ink on white cardstock, and the candles are stamped with black, and Gorgeous Grape ink.  I punched the stamped jar with the Sweet Jar Punch.  The lid is punched with Silver Foil.  Both of these are added to the Fresh Freesia circle with dimensionals.
  • The four tags are cut out from some Floral Impressions DSP, Gorgeous Grape, Night of Navy, and Basic White cardstock, and the Stylish Shapes Dies.  The words are stamped with the Posted for You stamp set and Gorgeous Grape ink.
  • I made a bow from Gorgeous Grape Sheer Ribbon (#154572) and added it to the card with glue dots.
  • All done and remember to decorate your envelope.

_____________________________________________________________________________
I had lots of fun designing these cards, and they ended up being pretty easy to put together.

Recipe:
  • The bases of each card is 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 and scored at 4 1/4.
  • The second layers are 5 1/4 x 4, and I stamped the flowers with the coordinating inks.
  • The DSP is 4 x 1 1/4, and I cut each piece at an angle.  I added these pieces to the card with liquid glue.
  • I wrapped the ribbon around the front and glued it to the back before adhering this combination to the card base.
  • I used the 4th from the smallest Everyday Arches Die to cut my Basic White Arch and stamped the words with coordinating inks. I added this piece to the card with liquid glue.
  • The stem on the left of the DSP is cut from the Impressions Abloom dies and added to the card with liquid glue.
  • The flowers are made by stamping with coordinating inks on Basic White and cutting them out with the Impressions Abloom dies.
  • To finish off the card, I added three beautiful bling.
  • All done and remember to decorate your envelope.
