Mixed Florals, Elements of Text, and The Right Words for my January 2026 Classes

Recipe:
Linda
- The base of Basic Black cardstock is 11 x 4 1/4 and scored at 5 1/2.
- The layer of Old Olive is 5 1/4 x 4 and is added to the base. Set aside, for now.
- The Very Vanilla layer is 5 x 3 3/4.
- I started by stamping all the images with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
- I put drops of Crushed Curry, Highland Heather, Old Olive, and Peach Pie reinkers on acrylic blocks and used an Aqua Painter to color my Mixed Floral flower. So easy, really.
- I used the inside of my scissors to scrape the edges to give a semi-vintage look.
- I adhered this piece to the Old Olive with Multi-Purpose Liquid glue.
- I stamped my words on a strip of Very Vanilla with black ink and punched out the words from the middle cut of the Three Banner Punch. I used a sponge dauber and Old Olive ink to give this word piece some character. I added this word piece to my Very Vanilla with mini-dimensionals.
- I added three Old Olive Ombree Matte Decorative Dots (#161448)
- All done and remember to decorate your envelope.
