Lighting the Way Bundle

I was playing around with one of my favorite retired stamp bundles, and here are my results.

Recipe:
  • The base of Crushed Curry is 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 and scored at 4 1/4.
  • The layer of Pecan Pie is 5 1/4 x 4.
  • The layer of Basic White is 5 x 3 3/4.
  • I punched a 2 1/2" circle with some scrap cardstock. I placed the circle cutout on the Basic White and sponged the exposed area with Pecan Pie ink.
  • I stamped the bee with Pecan Pie and Crushed Curry.
  • I stamped the leaves with Pecan Pie on Basic White, cut them out with the Lighting the Way dies and added them to the card with dimensionals.
  • The Cinnamon Cider ribbon (#152482) is added with glue dots and I added three brass embellishments.
  • The happy birthday stamp is a retired SU stamp and I am sorry; I do not know what stamp set it belongs to.
  • All done and remember to decorate your envelope.

B25 Again, Stitched Triangle Dies & True Love DSP

It is fun to revisit stamps that I have not used in a long, long time.  For this card I pulled out several items that are retired and produced this birthday card.  See below for the details.

Recipe:
  • The base of Real Red is 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 and scored at 4 1/4.
  • The layer of Basic Black is 5 1/4 x 4.
  • The layer of Basic White is 5 x 3 3/4.
  • I used the True Love DSP & the Stitched Triangle Dies (both retired) and adhered them to the Basic White with liquid glue.
  • The words, from 25 Again, are stamped in black on a 3 1/8 x 3/4 piece of Basic White and added this piece to my card with dimensionals.
  • The True Love DSP has sheets of flowers, and I colored two flowers with Stampin' Blends and cut them out with my scissors.  I also added them to the card with dimensionals.
  • All done and remember to decorate your envelope.
