AWASH with FLOWERS DRESSES
I wish I could take credit for this card, and remember from whom I creatively copied the idea. I am so sorry, I cannot not.
Aren't these little girls just so cute. Looks like they are ready to go dancing, don't they?
I used Awash with Flowers, only turned the flower upside down. Next I used All in the Family to make the little girls. My Stamp-a-ma-jig sure came in handy for this project, and everything lined up perfectly. I used the Color Spritzer Tool with a Pretty in Pink marker to mist ink onto my card front to create a spattered look.
Recipe: Stamps: Awash with Flowers, All in the Family, Oval All; Paper: Tempting Turquoise, Pretty in Pink, Whisper White; Ink: Tempting Turquoise, Pretty in Pink, So Saffron; Accessories: Color Spritzer Tool, Stamp-a-ma-jig, Scalloped Oval, and Oval punches, dimensionals.

AWASH WITH FLOWERS
Well folks, this is my new favorite stamp set. Yes, it has been on page 99 of Stampin' Up's 2010-11 Wish Book since July 1, 2010 and I have over-looked it time and time again. When I realized all the beautiful cards that could be made and how versatile this stamp set is, I just had to have Awash with Flowers. For the top card I made it using the two-step stamping technique, and for the bottom card I used chalks over Versamark. Recipe: Top Card: Stamps: Awash with Flowers, Inspired by Nature, Flight of the Butterfly; Paper: Rose Red, Marina Mist, Whisper White CS; Ink: Basic Black, Bashful Blue, Rose Red, Old Olive; Accessories: Beautiful Wings embosslit die, Ticket Corner Punch, pearls. Bottom Card: Stamps: Awash with Flowers, Heard from the Heart; Paper: Peach Parfait, Pretty in Pink, Poppy Parade, Whisper White; Ink: Basic Black, Versamark; Accessories: Stampin' Pastels, Poppy Parade twill ribbon, Silver Hodgepodge Hardware flower ribbon slide. BORGELLO TECHNIQUE
Hi stampers, I'm back. I know it's been a while since I posted anything, we moved from Burlington to Graham, NC, and I have been busy packing and unpacking. I now have a little time to make a few cards. This card is my first try at Borgello. A technique borrowed from needlepoint to create an interesting background with thin strips of designer series paper. I pulled out some of my retired paper and cardstock and had fun designing. Recipe: Stamps: Apple Blossoms (a hostess level 2 set); Cardstock: Whisper White, Crushed Curry, Rich Razzleberry, Razzleberry dsp; Ink: Rich Razzleberry; Accessories: Scallop Trim Border and wide oval punches, ex-large scallop oval punch (not SU), Crushed Curry ribbon.
