The Summer Mini has many wonderful sets, and Strength & Hope is just one of them, a beautiful set with meaning.

More Awash with Flowers, Versamark and chalks. This set is amazing. I dressed up this card with just a little ribbon, and great technique for a beginner to super advanced. Well folks, this is my new favorite stamp set. Yes, it has been on page 99 of Stampin' Up's 2010-11 Wish Book since July 1, 2010 and I have over-looked it time and time again. When I realized all the beautiful cards that could be made and how versatile this stamp set is, I just had to have Awash with Flowers. For the top card I made it using the two-step stamping technique, and for the bottom card I used chalks over Versamark. Hi stampers, I'm back. I know it's been a while since I posted anything, we moved from Burlington to Graham, NC, and I have been busy packing and unpacking. I now have a little time to make a few cards. This card is my first try at Borgello. A technique borrowed from needlepoint to create an interesting background with thin strips of designer series paper. I pulled out some of my retired paper and cardstock and had fun designing.
