Convention 2013 Swaps

I have been a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator, for almost six years and I finally went to Convention!  I decided I just couldn't miss SU’s 25th Anniversary celebration.  It was a great experience for me.  I learned a lot of useful tips, and met some fantastic people along the way.  A lot of travel, and so worth the trip.  Already making plans to go next year.
I brought home 270 card fronts, and cards that I swapped with other demonstrators, and if that wasn’t enough, I took pictures of the many swaps other demonstrators received and traded.  That’s crazy, huh?
Below are a few of the many I received.  I have enough ideas for classes for probably two years.  Speaking of classes, be sure to see my August 2013 schedule, and plan to join me to make some of these fabulous cards.
Let me know what you think, I would love to hear from you.

Thank you for stopping by and have a great day,
Linda

Hostess Club Projects

It's not to early to start our Christmas cards, is it?   Rita Shoe, our June hostess, demonstrated how to make these beautiful cards at our Hostess Club meeting on June 27, 2013.  It is a technique I am not familiar with and am excited to learn something new.

The top card uses Pistachio Pudding, Midnight Muse, Crisp Cantaloupe and Very Vanilla card stock and the bottom card is made with Cherry Cobbler, Garden Green, Pear Pizzazz and Very Vanilla card stock.

From My Heart and lots of little hearts

I saw this card on Pinterest-a great place for ideas-and I thought the words "Thank You from the bottom of my heart" deserved to be placed inside, what else, a heart framelit.  The outside edges are lots and lots and lots of little hearts punched from the Itty Bitty Punch pack and glued to the back of the heart shaped Whisper White cardstock.  It took a little extra time, and it was certainly worth it, I am very pleased with the results.

Recipe:  Stamps:  From My Heart;  Paper:  Real Red, Basic Black, Whisper White card stock and Neutrals designer series paper;  Ink:  Basic Black and Real Red;  Accessories:  Big Shot, Heart Framelits, the heart punch from the Itty Bitty Punch pack, Real Red 1/4" ribbon, dimensionals.

I hope you have enjoyed this post.  Thank you for stopping by and have a great day.
