This waterfall-fun-fold card is a result of great minds thinking alike. You see, my trusty assistant, Michelle "Chelle" Wallace and I designed it together, and I am tickled pink. There is a fantastic Waterfall card tutorial on YouTube by Dawn Griffith, and you can see it Here.
This is one of the two projects I offered at my June 23, 2016 Hostess Club meeting.
- Recipe:
- The bases are a 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 piece of either Crumb Cake or Island Indigo.
- The DSP is 5 1/4 x 4.
- The pull tab for the card is 3 x 9 1/4, scored at 1 3/4, 2 1/2, 3 1/4, and 4. I slid it under a 4 1/4 x 1 piece of card stock and anchored it with mini brads.
- The Whisper White piece (on the bottom layer of the pull) is 2 3/4 x 3 3/4, and you will need one of these.
- The base for the square pieces is 2 7/8, and the Whisper White (on which you stamp) is 2 3/4" square. You will need three each of these.
- The bears were stamped with Early Espresso ink on Crumb Cake card stock, and cut out using the Big Shot and the Bear Hugs Framelits Dies.
- The words, flowers, and honey pot were stamped with Early Espresso ink and colored with markers. The sun from Over the Rainbow was stamped with Crushed Curry ink.
- The squares were adhered to the long pull tab with Tear & Tape adhesive.
- Remember to decorate your envelope, can't leave the house naked, right?
