I bought the stamp set, Over the Rainbow, when it was first introduced in the 2015-16 Stampin' Up! catalog last June 2015, and I am finally getting around to using it. Nuts, huh?
I saw this card on Splitcoast Stampers, and it was made by Robyn Rasset, and she has a fantastic YouTube video Here. I added an extra layer of Daffodil Delight card stock, some ribbon, and some flowers from the Itty Bitty Punch Pack. So that my image was crisp and clear, I used SU's paper piercing mat under the card stock before I stamped my image. I found a new tool to help me, how about that!!!
This is the card I am offering at both my Shoe Box Swap on March 19, and at all of my Paper Therapy classes on April 5, April 7, and April 9, 2016. I hope you like it.
Recipe:
- The base is an 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 piece of Pacific Point scored at 4 1/4.
- The next layer is a 5 1/4 x 4 piece of Daffodil Delight.
- The next layer is a 5 x 3 3/4 piece of Wild Wasabi.
- The layer of Whisper White is 4 3/4 x 3 1/2, on which I embossed the rainbow with silver embossing powder. I stamped the words with Elegant Eggplant classic ink.
- The markers I used to color the embossed word, rainbow, was Real Red, Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, Wild Wasabi, Pacific Point, and Elegant Eggplant.
- I wrapped the ribbon around each corner on the white piece.
- Glued all together with Tombow snail.
- Remember to decorate your envelope, can't leave the house naked, right?
