Stitched Dies Are Here, Yea!!

stitched-5
Ok, I'm super excited for these!  Stitched circles, squares and oval framelits to add some extra style to your shapes or even just as an accent around a stamped image on your card.
stitched-1
See the cute stitches around the oval and the squares? Paper stitches are still a hot trend and a fun way to add some texture to any of your projects!

These new framelits will be available November 1st - November 30th only because they are a SNEAK PEEK from the 2016-2017 Stampin' Up annual catalog that comes out in June.   After that they will be available for a year.
In addition to the new framelits available on Nov 1st, there are NINE stamp sets on sale for 25% off that coordinate with the stitched dies!  (prices shown are for clear mount but wood mount is available for a little more)

I hold adult classes each month.  If you live near my home at 555 Williamsdale Road, Graham, NC 27253, and would like to attend any of my classes, please let me know.  For details, see my class schedule right here on my blog, or on my Stampin' Up! website found Here.

Basket of Wishes for my November 2016 classes

The Basket of Wishes set in the 2016-17 Holiday mini is so awesome.  So suitable for many occasions.  I have seen a gazillion ideas on Pinterest, as well as Split Coast Stampers, and Google.  So many ideas, so much card stock, so little time.  What's a girl to do!!!
I am offering this one at all of my November 8, November 10, and November 12, 2016 classes,
Recipe:
  • The base is a 11 x 4 1/4 piece of Crumb Cake, scored at 5 1/2.
  • Next is a 5 1/4 x 4 piece of Rich Razzleberry.
  • Next is a 5 x 3 3/4 piece of Fancy Frost Specialty paper.
  • Adhere a 4 3/4 x 3/4 piece of Paisleys & Petals DSP, and two 2 1/2 x 1/2 pieces of Serene Scenery DSP pack on the Fancy Frost Specialty paper with Tombow liquid glue.
  • Use Always Artichoke and the Layering Circle Framelits to cut out a scallop circle, and Whisper White to cut out the circle with the image from Basket of Wishes.  I stamped with image with Memento Black ink and let it dry for a few minutes before I colored the basket and pumpkin with markers.
  • The words are stamped on a 3 x 1 3/8 piece of Whisper White, and sponged the edges with a Sponge Dauber and Rich Razzleberry ink
  • I tied a bow with Linen Thread and adhered it with a glue dot.
  • Remember to decorate your envelope, can't leave the house naked, right?
If you have any questions, please let me know.

Strength & Prayers for my November 2016 Classes

When we have the need to send cards to let others know we care, and are thinking about them, it's nice to have a card handy, for just that occasion.  So, this is another offering at all of my November 8, November 10, and November 12, 2016 classes, and I am really excited to share it.
    Recipe:
    • The base is a 11 x 4 1/4 piece of Night of Navy, scored at 5 1/2.
    • Next is a 5 1/4 x 4 piece of Silver Foil paper.
    • Next is a 5 x 3 3/4 piece of Whisper White.
    • I adhered a 3 3/4 x 3 1/4 angled piece of Floral Boutique Designer Series Paper on the Whisper White with snail.
    • I used the Stamp-a-ma-jig to position and stamp the words with Night of Navy ink on the Whisper White card stock.  (you will want to stamp your words close to the bottom and the left of the card)
    • I wrapped a piece of Silver ribbon over the DSP/White piece and to hold the ribbon in place, I glued it to the back of the white.
    • I glued this combination to the Silver foil paper, and glued all to the Night of Navy base.
    • I stamped the dove with Versamark on Whisper White and heat embossed it with silver embossing powder.  I then cut the embossed dove out with the Big Shot and an oval from the Layering Oval Framelits Dies.
    • The Night of Navy scalloped piece and the Smoky Slate oval piece are also from the Layering Oval Framelits Dies.  I glued all these pieces together, and popped them up with dimensionals.
    • Remember to decorate your envelope, can't leave the house naked, right?
If you have any questions, please let me know.

Paisleys & Posies, and Suite Seasons

I am offering one of these cards at all of my November 8, November 10, and November 12, 2016 classes, just haven't decided which color combination yet.  The top card has a Cajun Craze base, and the bottom card has a Rich Razzleberry base.  The top card's flower is made with our new Copper Foil paper, and the bottom card's flower is made with Gold Foil paper.
Hard decision, because I like them both.  What's a girl to do?  Offer them both?  Maybe.  (See below for details on my classes).

      Recipe:
      • The base is a 11 x 4 1/4 piece of Cajun Craze or Rich Razzleberry, scored at 5 1/2.
      • Next is a 5 1/4 x 4 piece of Very Vanilla.
      • Next is a 5 x 3 3/4 piece of Mint Macaron, stamped at random with the stamps from Paisleys & Posies with Mint Macaron ink.
      • I adhered a 4 7/8 x 1/2 piece of Copper or Gold Foil paper on the Mint Macaron.
      • Next is a 4 7/8 x 1 3/4 piece of Cajun Craze or Rich Razzleberry, and on top of that is a 4 3/4 x 1 5/8 piece of DSP from the Petals & Paisleys paper. (You don't see the 4 7/8 x 1 3/4 piece of Cajun Craze under the DSP because my brain got ahead of me).
      • The words are stamped on a 2 7/8 x 1 3/8 piece of Very Vanilla.  This piece is backed with a 3 x 1 1/2 piece of Mint Macaron, and then backed with a 3 1/8 x 1 5/8 piece of either Cajun Craze or Rich Razzleberry.
      • The leaves were cut out with the Paisley Framelits Dies using the foil paper.
      • The ribbon is part of the 3/8" Ribbon Trio pack that is in the Holiday Mini, page 47.
      • I added a basic pearl to the leaves/flower.
      • Remember to decorate your envelope, can't leave the house naked, right?
If you have any questions, please let me know.

Christmas Pines for my November, 2016 Classes

I'm excited to share with you one of the cards I am offering at all of my November 8, November 10, and November 12, 2016, classes.  (See below for details about my classes).  I've used Christmas Pines and the Pretty Pines Thinlits dies.
        Recipe:
        • The base is a 11 x 4 1/4 piece of Early Espresso, scored at 5 1/2.
        • Next is a 5 1/4 x 4 piece of Real Red.
        • Next is a 5 x 3 3/4 piece of Very Vanilla, embossed with the Cable Knit Embossing Folder.  (This embossing folder is very thick, so when you use it, you only need your platform and one cutting plate).
        • The branches are cut using the Pretty Pines Thinlits Dies, and Garden Green card stock.
        • The words are stamped on Very Vanilla card stock with Real Red ink from the Christmas Pines stamp set, and cut out with the Big Shot & the Layering Ovals Framelits dies.
        • The base under the words is cut from Real Red card stock, with the Layering Ovals Framelits dies.
        • The Real Red ribbon is retired, and I'm sure, any red ribbon you decide to use will work just fine.
        • Remember to decorate your envelope, can't leave the house naked, right?
