You've Got This for my July Classes

I was surfing Pinterest one day, (doesn't every crafter?), and came across Lisa Flemming's card, and knew right away I just had to CASE it, and in my world of crafting, CASEing is a true compliment. You can see Lisa's card Here.  One difference though, I think Lisa colored her flower with markers.  I stamped the image with Tuxedo Black ink onto the colored card stock and cut out the flower.  I then used my white chalk marker for highlights, and Crystal Effects for the shine in the flower's center.

You've Got This is a wonderful stamp set new to the 2015-16 catalog. I can envision more than seven occasions for which this set would be appropriate, just change up the sentiment, and there you go.  Look for this beauty to be one of options from which to choose for my July 14, 16, and 18, 2015 classes.

Recipe:  Stamp Sets: You've Got This, A Dozen Thoughts; Paper: Whisper White, Calypso Coral, Pool Party, Wild Wasabi;  Ink: Tuxedo Memento Black, Calypso Coral, Pool Party;  Accessories:  Big Shot, Circle Card Thinlits Dies (for the little tab), White Perfect Accents, Chalk Marker, Crystal Effects, Dimensionals.

Tin of Cards Project Kit Class

Next Saturday, June 27, 2015, a group of wonderful, delightful, and amazing ladies are coming to my home for a Tin of Cards Project Kit class.  I thought it might be a good idea to experiment with my kit before they get here.  Good idea, right?   So yesterday I got together with two other stamper friends of mine, Kitty and Jeri, and we each made our entire kits.  It was a good thing too, because I found out what not to do when making my cards, and Jeri and Kitty were here to give me some great ideas and shortcuts as well.  I can't wait to share my shortcut ideas, and though I don't want to admit it, share my mistakes.

If you have not purchased this kit yet, I am here to say, it is well worth the purchase price of $27.00.  Sixteen A-2 cards, 16 envelopes, dividers for organization, an instruction/idea sheet, for those of us who need that little jump start, and a beautiful tin to keep all your cards in one place.  Also, there is a coordinating stamp set available, perfect for this project.

If you would like to place an order, head on over to my Stampin' Up! website,  www.lindafisher.stampinup.net, and click on the "shop now" tab, or click on the 2015-16 Catalog right here on my blog.

Guy Greetings and the Bow Builder Punch

Another cute card for my June 9th, 11th and 13th paper therapy and card classes coming up soon.  I'm excited to share all the wonderful products I used to make this PMS card.  PMS in this case, stands for Positively Masculine Stamping card, how about that!!!!  I CASEd this card from Sharon Armstrong.  You can find her Here and her SU website will direct you to a fantastic video on her YouTube channel.

The paper I used to make this card is called Manchester.  It is from the 2008-09 catalog, and I have proved to myself, it's best to keep your designer series paper because you never know when it's going to come in handy.  I think it's perfect for this vest card.

Recipe:  Stamp Sets: Guy Greetings; Paper:  Very Vanilla, Always Artichoke, Rose Red card stock, and Manchester DSP;  Ink: Early Espresso;  Accessories:  Envelope Punch Board (to make the vest), Bow Builder Punch, Dimensionals.

If you would like to place an order, head on over to my Stampin' Up! website,  www.lindafisher.stampinup.net, and click on the "shop now" tab, or click on the 2015-16 Catalog right here on my blog.
