Orange Blossom, Just Add Text, and Oh Happy Day Card Kit Note Card & Candy Gift

This is the second project we made at my July 27, 2017 hostess club meeting.  Everyone covered a SU wood mount case, and filled it with three 3 x 3 note cards with coordinating envelopes, and the three covered nuggets completed this cute little project.

The idea for this project came from Linda Guiterrez. She has a video on her blog, Stamping Year Round, post of July 14, 2014.  You can see it Here.

I used Half Wide Stamp Cases from Stampin' Up!, and even though they are not in the current catalog, they are available, for just $5.00 for four.  Item #127552.  I purchased the 3 1/4 x 3 1/4 white envelopes from Amazon.  A pack of 50 is $11.95.

The words for the 3 x 3 cards came from the Oh Happy Day card kit.

Recipe:
  • The box cover is 3 1/4 x 11 1/4.
  • The 8 1/2 x 3 3/8 divider is scored at 1 1/4, 2 1/4, 3 1/4, 6 5/8, and 7 5/8.

Fabulous Flamingo
The 12 piece, Two-step, Photopolymer stamp set, Fabulous Flamingo, is one that can brighten anyone's day.  A flamingo is a happy bird, and who wouldn't be with such long legs.
My lovely assistant, Michelle Wallace, helped design this latest creation, and I hope you like it as much as I do.

 Recipe:
  • The base is 8 1/2 x 5 1/2  piece of Bermuda Bay scored at 4 1/4.
  • The Flirty Flamingo layer 5 1/4 x 4.
  • The Whisper White layer is 4 3/4 x 3 1/2.
  • The water, flamingo, and words were stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink.
  • The flamingo was stamped with Flirty Flamingo ink, and stamped off first.  How about that, the flamingo was stamped with flamingo ink😇.
  • Stamped the flamingo with So Saffron ink, and stamped off first.
  • The grass was stamped with Bermuda Bay ink, then stamped a second time without reinking the stamp.
  • Coloring pencils, along with a Blender Pen were used to make the water blue.
  • The words were stamped on Whisper White cardstock, and cut out with the Layering Oval Framelits.
  • A quarter of a doily is tucked under the words, and some bling was added.
  • Don't forget to decorate your envelope.
  • All done!!!

Lemon Zest Stamp Set &
Lemon Builder Punch
Who really needs a Lemon Builder Punch?  Me, that's who. Didn't think so at first, until I made this card, and then I said to myself, "I am so glad I bought the bundle".  Want to know why? I punched out the leaves and lemon in a snap.  I admit, it would take less than three minutes to cut them out with my Paper Snips, except I am going to save boo-koos of time when I make the 25 sets of this card for my July classes.

I saw this card on Lyssa Zwolanek's blog, Song of My Heart,  and you can see her card Here, post of June 9, 2017.

I am offering this card at my next set of classes is July 11, July 13, and July 15, 2017 Click on anyone of these dates to see additional information.

Recipe:
  • The base is 8 1/2 x 5 1/2  piece of Lemon Lime Twist scored at 4 1/4.
  • The Pumpkin Pie layer 5 1/4 x 4.
  • The Whisper White layer is 5 x 3 3/4.
  • The Fresh Florals piece of Lemon Lime Twist is 3 3/4 x 1 3/4.
  • The lemon is stamped with Daffodil Delight, and the leaves are stamped with Old Olive.  The circle lemons are stamped with Daffodil Delight, and I stamped off first.  All on Whisper White.
  • The words are stamped in Old Olive.
  • The ribbon is the 1/4" Lemon Lime Twist Ombre.
  • Don't forget to decorate your envelope.
  • All done!!!
