Abstract Impressions & Springtime Impressions Thinlits

I like cards that one can put together in minutes, and in my PJ's too.  I used the Tufted Embossing Folder, the Springtime Impressions Thinlits Dies, and just three colors of cardstock, and a masterpiece was created.  Amazing.

Recipe:

• The base is an 8 1/2 x 5 1/2  piece of Shaded Spruce scored at 4 1/4.
• The Seafoam layer is 5 1/4 x 4, and is dry embossed with the Tufted embossing folder.
• The cutout is from a piece of Merry Merlot.  It is glued to the card front with a Fine-Tip glue pen.
• The words are from Abstract Impressions and stamped with Merry Merlot ink.
• Basic Pearl are added to the center of the cutout flowers.
• Don't forget to decorate your envelope.
• All done!!!

Come One and Come All to my Saved-Over Card Making Classes

Do you need some paper therapy?  Well, I have just the answer.  Come to one or both of my July, 2018 classes.  Fellowship with others who enjoy card making and paper crafting. 

I have pulled out all the past card kits I have "saved-over".  You see, whenever I have kits left from classes, (say it isn't so, right?), I save them for later.  Well, this is later.  What you see in the picture above is just a very small sample of the many card kits I am offering for this special class.  So many cards, so little time. What's a girl going to do!!! 

When: Tuesday, July 10, 2018 from 9:30 to 1:00.  (I have just one space left).

Saturday, July 14, 2018 from 9:30 to 1:00. (Just 2 spaces left). 

Where: All classes are held in my Stamping Studio, at 555 Williamsdale Road, Graham, NC 27253.

Cost: Bring all of your own adhesives: $1.50 per card.  I provide your adhesives: $2.00 per card.  All cards include envelopes.

Cookie Cutter Christmas

Do you realize that Christmas is less than six months away?  Well, I say it's never too early to get started on the wonderful, hand made Christmas cards everyone is going to oooh, and aaah over.

Recipe:

• The base is an 8 1/2 x 5 1/2  piece of Call Me Clover scored at 4 1/4.
• The next Call Me Clover layer is 5 1/4 x 4, and is dry embossed with the Cable Knit embossing folder.
• The piece of Woodgrain DSP is 5 1/4 x 1.
• The Old Olive branches are cut out with the Big Shot and the Christmas Staircase Thinlits Dies.
• The ribbon is the 1/8" Blueberry Bushel.
• The circle is cut out with Whisper White and the Stitched Framelits Dies.
• The bear is stamped with Granite Gray and Basic Gray ink, and his bow is stamped with Night of Navy ink and punched out with the Cookie Cutter Builder Punch.
• The heart is cut out with the Park Bench Dies and Crumb Cake ink. However, a heart punch would work too.
• The words are stamped with Call Me Clover ink on a 3/4 x 2 1/4 piece of Whisper White, and backed with a piece of Blueberry Bushel cardstock.
• Don't forget to decorate your envelope.
• All done!!!
