  Potions & Spells Kitty Card

Isn't this a really cute card?  I don't consider this a Halloween card, not really, I thought it was adorable, that's all.
I saw this card on Christy's Stamping Spot, post of July 26, 2024, and you can see her card Here, and she also has a PDF for her card.

Recipe:
  • The 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 base of Early Espresso cardstock is scored at 4 1/4.
  • The Pool Party layer is 5 1/4 x 4 and is embossed with the Distressed Tile 3D Folder.
  • The 5 1/4 x 3 1/4 layer of Country Woods DSP is adhered with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
  • I used a 4" square of Very Vanilla to cut out a circle with a Spotlight on Nature Die. I stamped the cat with Tuxedo Memento Black ink and colored her with Smoky Slate Blends.  I adhered this to the card with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
  • I cut a 4" piece of Very Vanilla Satin ribbon and adhered it with snail.
  • The words, from Wildflowers Designs, are stamped on a 3/4 x 4 piece of Very Vanilla with Early Espresso ink.
  • I cut out two Misty Moonlight leaves with the Country Flowers Dies and added them behind the word piece and added all to the card with dimensionals.
  • All done and remember to decorate your envelope.

Potions & Spells and Playful Ghosts for a Happy Halloween

I am not a Halloween fanatic; however, the Potions & Spells and Playful Ghosts sets are so cute, I just had to have them.
I hope you like my take on these fun sets.
Recipe:
  • The 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 base of Pumpkin Pie cardstock is scored at 4 1/4.
  • The Basic Black layer is 5 1/4 x 4.
  • The Flowering Zinnias DSP layer is 5 x 3 3/4.
  • The ghost, little baby dracula and cat are stamped with Tuxedo Memento Black ink on the Basic White.  All are colored with Stampin' Blends.
  • I used the second from the largest of the Nested Essentials Dies to cut the black center.
  • I used Pumpkin Pie, Foam Adhesive Sheets and Alphabet A La Mode Dies to make the BOO.
  • The Adhesive-Backed Sequins (retired) are added.
  • All done and remember to decorate your envelope.

 Thoughtful Wishes & Unbounded Love

I could not resist using the Round We Go dies. I hope to offer this card at both of my September 10 and 14, 2024 Creative Therapy Classes.

Recipe:
  • The 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 base of Shy Shamrock cardstock is scored at 4 1/4.
  • The Misty Moonlight layer is 5 1/4 x 4.
  • The Basic White layer is 5 x 3 3/4.
  • I stamped the flowers, from Thoughtful Wishes, with Tuxedo Memento Black ink on the Basic White layer.  They are colored with Stampin' Blends.
  • Next, I used Pecan Pie cardstock and a die from Round We Go to cut the "fence" and adhered it to the card with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
  • I wrapped some Shy Shamrock ribbon around the top two layers and added this combination to the Shy Shamrock card base.  I made a bow and added it with Glue Dots.
  • The Shy Shamrock circle is the base for the words and is cut out with a Spotlight on Nature die.  The words, from Unbounded Love, are stamped on Basic White with Pecan Pie ink, cut out with a die from Unbounded Love and added it to the Shy Shamrock circle.
  • To finish off the card, I added three Tinsel Gems-3 Pack.
  • All done and remember to decorate your envelope.

Simply Sparkling Bundle for my September 2024 Creative Therapy Classes

I bought this set on a whim, not really crazy about it, that is until I started using it.  So much fun, so little time.
I saw Kylie Bertucci's card on her blog, and you can see her card Here.  See the recipe and instructions below.

Recipe:
  • The 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 base of Basic Black cardstock is scored at 4 1/4.
  • The Basic White layer is 5 1/4 x 4.
  • The Real Red layer is 5 1/8 x 3 7/8 and is stamped with Real Red ink and the little bubbles stamp from the Simply Sparkling set.
  • The next Basic Black layer is cut from the second of the largest Deckled Rectangle Dies  and is the base for the Basic White that is cut with the third from the largest Deckled Rectangle Dies.  I stamped red bubbles in the corner before I embossed this piece with the Dashing Designs Folder.  These pieces are adhered together with Multipurpose Liquid Glue and added to the card front.
  • The soda can:
    • I used Tuxedo Memento Black ink and stamped the can on Smoky Slate cardstock and cut it out with the can die.
    • I cut the lid and little piece across the bottom with Silver Foil and adhered them to the can.
    • I cut out the words SODA using the Mini Alphabet Dies and Real Red cardstock.  I adhered them to the can with liquid glue.
    • I adhered the can to the card front with dimensionals, lining the lid with the little bubbles.
    • I stamped the words "You're soda-lightful" with Versamark on Basic Black cardstock and heat embossed with white powder.  I cut the words apart with my amazing Paper Snips and added them to the card and can with liquid glue.
    • To finish the card I added three black Adhesive Backed Sparkling Gems.
  • All done and remember to decorate your envelope.
