Birds of a Feather for Thanksgiving
Meet Tressie and the Birds of a Feather stamp set.  I am so glad I bought this one because I like fun sets.  I CASEd (Copy and Share Everything), this card from Mary Deatherage's blog Stamp-n-Lingers, post of August 13, 2019 and you can visit her card Right Here.
Recipe:
  • The base is an 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 piece of Merry Merlot, scored at 4 1/4.
  • The next layer of Crushed Curry is 5 3/8 x 4 1/8.
  • The Pool Party layer is 5 1/8 x 4.
  • The Come to Gather DSP is 5  x 3 3/4.
  • The next piece of Crushed Curry is 3 7/8 x 2 7/8.
  • The smaller piece of Merry Merlot is 3 5/8 x 2 5/8.
  • The Whisper White on which my turkey, aka-Tressie, is stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink is 3 1/2 x 2 1/2.  Tressie's pocket is made by stamping her on a piece of the Come to Gather DSP, cutting out her apron and adhering it over her stamped apron.  (Just like Mary did, just sayin").
  • The words are stamped with the same black ink.
  • The feather from the Tags & Feathers Elements is glued to the Whisper White with Multipurpose Glue.  First I "smashed" into a Pretty Peacock ink pad and then I rubbed some of the ink off with a paper towel.  I think I smashed to hard.
  • I took a piece of Linen Thread, doubled it, and made a bow.  Adhered it to the Whisper White with a glue dot.
  • All done, and remember to decorate your envelope.
