Dandelion Wishes

I think the new Dandelion Wishes stamp set is so wonderful, and I just want to keep using it over and over and over.  Above is one of the many cards I made with the set.
Recipe:

• The base is an 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 piece of Daffodil Delight, scored at 4 1/4.
• The Old Olive layer is 5 1/4 x 4, and dry embossed with the Garden Trellis folder.
• The Basic Black is 4 1/4 x 2 1/2.
• The Whisper White piece is 4 1/8 x 2 3/8.
• The strip of Melon Mambo is 4 1/2 x 1/2 and glued under the black.
• The 2 3/4 long piece of Daffodil Delight is punched with the Decorative Ribbon Border Punch.
• The dandelion is stamped with Melon Mambo ink, and the words with Tuxedo Memento Black ink,
• A "bling" is added to the center of the dandelion, and guess what?
• All Done.
• Oh, and don't forget to decorate your envelope.

Lily Pad Lake for a Hostess Club Project.

This is the second project that I am offering my hostess club ladies  for our July 26th meeting.  It's a Diorama card.  It was so easy, and I'm excited to share with them, and the Lily Pad Lake set is so perfect for this type of card.  Julie Davison has a how-to YouTube Video, and you can see it Here.

Recipe:

• The base is an 5 1/2  x 4 1/4 piece of Thick Whisper White, scored at 1/2 & 1 on each end of the 5 1/2 side.
• The Blueberry Bushel layer is 5 1/2 x 4 1/4, also scored the same as the white base.
• The circle is cut out with one of the dies from the Layering Circle Framelits Dies.
• Balmy Blue ink is used to stamp the water, and sponge the sky.
• The lily pads, the bird, and the words are stamped with Tuxedo Memento ink.
• The lily pads are colored with Blends, and cut out with the coordinating, Lakeside dies.  
• To make your sun, punch a circle from a small square of cardstock and lay that over your base where you want your sun.  Sponge the empty circle with So Saffron ink until it's the shade your desire.
• Use a very strong adhesive to adhere the sides together.
• Don't forget to decorate your envelope.
• All done!!!

Tropical Chic 

for Hostess Club Project

My hostess this month ask for a Shaker Card as one of the two projects I offer at Hostess Club.  This is what my assistance, Michelle, Wendie and I came up with.  I hope all of my ladies enjoy making this fun card.

Recipe:

• The base is an 8 1/2 x 5 1/2  piece of Shaded Spruce scored at 4 1/4.
• The Granny Apple Green layer is 5 1/2 x 3 3/4.
• The piece of Tropical Escape Designer Series Paper under the window sheet is 3 x 3.
• The Window Sheet is 3 1/4 x 3 1/4.
• Foam Adhesive Strips are used under the cutout to keep the shaker flowers in place.
• The Vivid Vases Builder Punch and Blushing Bride cardstock is used to make the little flowers as part of the shaker.
• The leaves are stamped with Shaded Spruce ink on Whisper White cardstock and cut out with the Tropical Thinlits Dies.
• The little flower is stamped with Blushing Bride ink on Whisper White cardstock, and also cut out with the Tropical Thinlits Dies. 
• Don't forget to decorate your envelope.
• All done!!!

Lily Pad Lake, Healing Hugs and Petal Promenade Designer Series Paper

I made this card in minutes, and in my P.J.'s I might add, with the new Petal Promenade Designer Series Paper (DSP).  Lovely, isn't it? 

Recipe:

• The base is an 8 1/2 x 5 1/2  piece of Petal Pink scored at 4 1/4.
• The Fresh Fig layer is 5 1/4 x 4.
• The piece of Petal Promenade DSP is 5 x 3 3/4.
• The strip of Petal Pink is 5 x 1/2.
• The Highland Heather piece is 4 3/8 x 3 1/8.
• The next piece of Petal Promenade DSP is 4 1/4 x 3.
• The words are from Lily Pad Lake and stamped with Fresh Fig ink.
• The inside is a 5 1/4 x 4 piece of Whisper White.  The flower and leaves are from Healing Hugs and stamped with Tranquil Tide and Fresh Fig.  The words are from Lily Pad Lake are stamped with Fresh Fig ink.
• Don't forget to decorate your envelope.
• All done!!!
