Hello Cupcake
Z-Fold Card
Hello Cupcake is another fun card made with a stamp set you can get for free from Stampin' Up! with a $50.00 purchase until March 31, 2019. (See post of 1/17/19 for the other Hello Cupcake fun card). I am offering this super fun and actually very easy card at my March 12 and March 16, 2019 Creative Therapy Classes.Recipe:
- The base is an 11 x 4 1/4 piece of Highland Heather scored at 5 1/2 & 2 3/4.
- The Gorgeous Grape layers are: 5 1/4 x 4 and 2 each of 5 1/4 x 2 1/2.
- The Whisper White layers are 5 x 3 3/4 and 2 each of 5 x 2 1/4.
- The 11 x 1 piece of Highland Heather is scored at 5 1/2 & 2 3/4. The 11 x 7/8 piece of Gorgeous Grape is scored at 5 1/2 & 2 3/4. Before I glued these two pieces together, I trimmed both ends of the Gorgeous Grape with my Paper Snips.
- The Gingham Gala DSP is 5 x 3/4 & 2 1/4 x 3/4 x 2.
- The words "Life's too short..." is stamped with Tuxedo Memento Black ink, and the word Cake is colored with a Highland Heather Blend. The words in the middle panel are stamped with Gorgeous Grape ink.
- The cupcakes are stamped with Early Espresso, Highland Heather and Gorgeous Grape ink. One cupcake is stamped directly on the 5 x 3 3/4 card base, and the second cupcake is stamped on a scrap of Whisper White and cut out with the Call Me Cupcake Thinlits Dies. (Available March 1-31, 2019). Tear and Tape is used to adhere the cutout cupcake to the narrow strip.
- All done, and remember to decorate your envelope.
