Give it a Whirl , Party Puffins, Timeless Tulips &
Sweet Ice Cream
I had a great time making this card using the Give It A Whirl dies, and the Sweet Ice Cream stamp set.
I made my own background by stamping the ice cream cones on Basic White cardstock before cutting the front with the largest Give It A Whirl die.
Linda Heller has a fantastic video on YouTube explaining how to use these dies. You can see her cards Here, post of July 2, 2021.
Recipe:
- The base is an 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 piece of Fresh Freesia, scored at 4 1/4.
- The Blackberry Bliss layer is 5 1/4 x 4.
- The top layer is stamped with Cinnamon Cider, Bermuda Bay, Petal Pink and Fresh Freesia.
- The largest Give It A Whirl die is 5 1/4 x 3 13/16, and after I cut this piece out, I trimmed it so it measures 5 x 3 3/4. It did cut off the stitching on the edges, and that was okay. It still looks good.
- All done! Remember to decorate envelope !!
