Papillon Potpourri and Hexagon Hive Thinlit

I just received my new Hexagon Hive Thinlit, and it is awesome.  So unusual, and I like unusual, so this thinlit suits me just fine.  I am planning to offer a card similar to this one for my May 3rd, 6th, 8th, and 14th classes using this thinlit.   I will post the new version very soon.  Stay tuned.

Recipe:  Stamps:  Papillon Potpourri, Label Love;  Paper:  Coastal Cabana, Saraha Sand, Crisp Cantaloupe, Night of Navy, Whisper White card stock and Fresh Prints DSP;  Ink:  Night of Navy, Island Indigo, Crushed Curry, ;  Accessories:  Big Shot, Hexagon Hive Thinlit, Crisp Cantaloupe Stretch Ruffled Ribbon, Artisan Label Punch, dimensionals

Hint:  I found it is best to use wax paper between your card stock and the Hexagon Hive Thinlit when cutting.  Be sure to save the little hexagon pieces that are left over, there is a use for them somewhere and sometime.  If you go to YouTube and search Stampin' Up! Hexagon Hive Thinlit, there are videos that showcase this new gem.

In addition to Kids Camp classes, I hold adult classes each month.  If you live near my home at 555 Williamsdale Road, Graham, NC 27253 and would like to attend any of my classes, please let me know.  Check out my April 2014 class schedule right here on my blog, or on my SU website found Here

If you would like to purchase any of the supplies to make this card, please feel free to contact me directly, or order from my Stampin Up! website found Here

Joy Fold Card-Flower Shop and Bring on the Cake

This is one of my favorites that I am offering at my April, 2014 classes.  It is called a joy fold card, and I am so pleased with myself, I can't stand it.  I like how this card folds different from the regular A-2 card, don't you think?

Recipe:  Stamps:  Bring on the Cake and Flower Shop;  Paper:  Very Vanilla, Coastal Cabana, Wisteria Wonder,  and Pink Pirouette card stock, Afternoon Picnic designer series paper;  Ink:  Coastal Cabana, Pink Pirouette;  Accessories:  Big Shot, Argyle Embossing Folder, Pansy Punch, dimensionals.

Everything Eleanor for Mother's Day

I wanted to offer just the right card for my April classes for Mother's Day next month. (I try hard to keep a month ahead of holidays and celebrations).  I thought it might be appropriate to offer not only a card for Mother's, but a universal card that could be used for most any occasion, and these are what I came up with.  I hope you like them as much as I do.

Recipe:  Stamps:  My Mother, En Francais, Feel Goods;   Paper:  Whisper White, Basic Gray, Rose Red card stock;  Ink:  Basic Gray, Rose Red classic, and Versa Mark; Accessories:  Heat Tool, Dimensionals, Silver embossing powder, Embossing Buddy, Basic Pearls.

Never Ending Joy

Stampin' Up! introduced a new Scalloped Tag Topper punch in the Spring 2014 mini, and when I saw Tanya Bell's video tutorial on how to make a card using the punch, I knew I had to have it.  It does so much more too.  Bookmarks, boxes, bags, tags, just to name a few.
I am offering this card at my April 8th, 10th, 12th, and 16th classes.  To save time in class, I will have the card base already cut, and if you would like to learn how to make this adorable, unique style card, visit Tanya's blog found HERE.

When I was deciding what stamps to use for this card, a retired set from 2008 jumped right off my shelf and said "use me, I'm perfect".  So of course, that is what I did, even though there are a gazillion other stamp sets in the current catalog appropriate for this card.

Recipe:  Stamps:  Never Ending Joy;  Paper:  Whisper White, Wild Wasabi, Tangerine Tango;  Ink: Wild Wasabi, Tangerine Tango and Daffodil Delight classic;  Accessories: Scalloped Tag Topper Punch, Watercolor Wonder dsp, Pumpkin Pie 1/8" ribbon.

I hold adult classes each month, and a bi-monthly Kids Camp.  If you live near my home at 555 Williamsdale Road, Graham, NC 27253 and would like to attend any of my classes, please let me know.  Check out my April 2014 class schedule right here on my blog, or on my SU website found Here
