Night Before Christmas DSP & Jolly Seasons Dies

How about a Christmas card using absolutely no stamps.  Nada, none, zero.  Cool beans, huh?  Well, these cards were made in minutes, using only cardstock, designer series papers, framelits, and a die cutting machine.  See below for all the supplies I used.

If you do not have a SU demonstrator and would like any additional information, or would like a catalog, please let me know.  I am more than happy to help you.

Recipe: 

• The 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 bases are Poppy Parade, scored at 4 1/4.
• The 5 1/4 x 4 layers are So Saffron.
• The next 5 x 3 3/4 layers are Night before Christmas Designer Series Paper.
• The Santa Sleigh is cut out with the Jolly Season Dies and black foil paper.
• The words on the top card are from the Night before Christmas Memories & More Card Pack, and the cut out words on the bottom card are cut out with the Jolly Season Dies and Poppy Parade cardstock.
• The Very Vanilla inside of both cards is decorated with pieces from the Night before Christmas Memories & More Card Pack.
• All done, and remember to decorate your envelope.

So Many Stars & 

Stitched Stars Dies

Unusual colors for Christmas cards, and I think that is what makes them so beautiful.  These cards were super easy to make with the So Many Stars bundle.  For sure.  See below for the products I used to make them.  

If you do not have a SU demonstrator and would like any additional information, or would like a catalog, please let me know.  I am more than happy to help you.

Recipe: 

• The 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 bases are Crumb Cake or Highland Heather, scored at 4 1/4.
• The 5 1/4 x 4 layers are Very Vanilla or Whisper White.
• The next 5 x 3 3/4 layers are Balmy Blue or Smoky Slate, and are stamped with coordinating inks.  The words are stamped with Cherry Cobbler or Highland Heather ink.
• Silver foil is used to cut out the stars, and background pieces. The Very Vanilla or Whisper White stars are stamped with coordinating colors and cut out with the Stitched Stars Dies.  Hint:  to save paper,  stamp and cut out these stars from your second layer piece before you adhere the top layer down.    
• All done, and remember to decorate your envelope.

Christmas Gleaming

I received this beautiful Christmas card from Carol Snow at a recent card swap.  Carol is a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator in Durham, NC.

Recipe:

• The base is an 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 piece of Pretty Peacock, scored at 4 1/4.
• The strip of Brightly Gleaming DSP is 5 1/4 x 3/4.
• The Very Vanilla layer is 5 1/4 x 3 1/4.  The ornaments are stamped with Mossy Meadow, Night of Navy and Pretty Peacock ink on Very Vanilla cardstock and cut out with the Gleaming Ornaments Punch Pack.  They are adhered to the card with dimensionals.
  
• The beautiful designs from which the ornaments are hanging is stamped with Versamark ink, covered with Gold Embossing Powder and a Heat Tool is used to melt the powder.  
• A Star Element is adhered to one of the ornaments.
• To be sure the words (stamped with Pretty Peacock ink), would be straight, Carol used her Stamparatus.  Awesome tool.  
• All done, and remember to decorate your envelope.

Snowman Season & Seasonal Layers Dies

I had the privilege of making this card at our last Shoe Box Swap.  My stamper friends and I get together quarterly, and have fun making each others designs.

Recipe:

• The base is an 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 piece of Bermuda Bay, scored at 4 1/4.
• The Whisper White layer is 5 1/4 x 4.
• The Crumb Cake layer is 5 x 3 3/4, and is dry embossed with the Woodland Embossing Folder.
• The snowflakes are cut out with the Seasonal Layer Dies and Bermuda Bay cardstock.
• The ovals and the circle are cut out with Whisper White and Bermuda Bay cardstock and the Stitched Shapes Dies.
• The snowman is stamped with Tuxedo Memento black ink and colored with coordinating Stampin' Blends.
• Rhinestone Basic Jewels are added, because "bling" is fun.
• All done, and remember to decorate your envelope.
