Outdoor Barbecue
Seriously, how can anyone not like this set of stamps.  Great for Father's Day, Invitations, Masculine Birthdays, and the list goes on and on.  
Unfortunately, this set is retiring on June 2, 2020, and is available while supplies last.  It is in the Stampin' Up! Occasions Catalog for just $19.00 for 12 Cling Stamps.  Super deal.

Recipe: (building from base)
  • The base is an 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 piece of Mango Melody, scored at 4 1/4.
  • The Real Red layer is 5 1/4 x 4.
  • The Crumb Cake layer is 5 x 3 3/4 and is embossed with the Brick & Mortar 3D embossing folder..
  • A circles are made with the Layering Circle Dies
  • The grill, and all the good eats are stamped with Tuxedo Memento Black ink and colored with Blends.  (The Blends in the 2020-21 catalog will only be sold in pairs)
  • All the good eats: the corn, hamburger, catsup and mustard, and the grill were cut out with my handy-dandy Paper Snips.  Awesome cutting tool.
  • All done and remember to decorate your envelope.

    Birthday Jubilee
    Linda Roberts, my very talented downline, shared this card with me, and I just had to pass on her talents.  
    This bundle is in the SU 2020 Occasions Catalog, and makes some beautiful cards. It is retiring on June 2, 2020, and is available while supplies last.

      Recipe:
      • The base is an 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 piece of Grapefruit Grove, scored at 4 1/4.
      • The 5 1/2 x 3 1/2 piece of Grapefruit Grove DSP is the base for the Whisper White Jubilee Beauty Dies.
      • The flowers are stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink on Whisper White, colored with Blends and popped up with Dimensionals.
      • The words are stamped with Soft Suede ink.  
      • All done and remember to decorate your envelope.

        Pressed Petals Specialty Designer Series Papers
         
         
        Look how this beautiful paper can make cards, almost all by itself, well, the paper needs help, that would be us!.  
        There are so many ways to use the Pressed Petals Specialty DSP, and here are just four of them.  Add a few embellishments and some words, and there you have it.  An easy, quick card.  This paper is retiring June 2, 2020, and is available while supplies last.  It comes in a pack of 24 double sided 12 x 12 sheets for just $14.50.

          Witty-Cisms
          Witty-Cisms has 9 Cling Mount stamps and makes some really cute cards.  Here is one I saw on Pinterest and you can see Jamie's card Here, post of 1/20/2020.  Jamie has lots of pictures, and she shows how she cut the taco stamp apart.
            Recipe:
            • The base is an 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 piece of Real Red scored at 4 1/4.
            • The Mango Melody layer is 5 1/4 x 4. (To save paper, I cut out the scallop circles from this piece before I adhered it to the base). 
            • The Whisper White layer is 5 x 3 3/4.
            • The Basic Black layer is 5 x 2 5/8 and is the base for the 5 x 2 1/2 Real Red layer.  
            • The taco is stamped randomly with Real Red ink on the red cardstock.
            • The words are stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink on two of the 2 1/2 x 3/4 Whisper White pieces, and the Happy Birthday is stamped on a 2 1/2 x 1 piece. The flags are made with the Banner Triple punch.
            • The Basic Black, Real Red, and Whisper White circles are made with the Layering Circle dies.
            • The tacos are stamped on the white circles with Tuxedo Black Memento ink and colored with Mango Melody, Granny Apple Green, and Soft Suede Blends.  These are popped up with dimensionals.
            • All done and remember to decorate your envelope.

              Tasteful Textures & Mosaic Mood DSP for a quick and easy card
              So you want to make a beautiful, handmade card and are short on supplies?  Some card stock, designer series papers, punches or dies, and one stamp set, and there you have it, a simple, yet elegant card.  Quick and easy sketch to boot!!

              Recipe: (building from base)
              • The Garden Green base is 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 and scored at 4 1/4. 
              • The Blushing Bride layer is 5 1/4 x 4.
              • The Mosaic Mood DSP (on sale & retiring 6/1/2020) layer is 5 x 3 3/4.
              • The next piece of 3 1/2 x 2 1/4 Garden Green layer is cut with the Stitched Rectangle Dies, and if you do not have the dies, no worries, just cut your cardstock to the same size.
              • The Very Vanilla piece is 3 1/4 x 2 and is embossed with the Tufted folder (retiring 6/1/2020).  If you don't have the Tufted, almost any folder will work, and if do not own any folders, leave this piece plain. 
              • The next 4 1/4 x 1 1/8 piece of Garden Green is the base for the 4 1/8 x 1 piece of Mosaic Mood DSP.
              • The Blushing Bride, Garden Green and Very Vanilla circles are cut out with the Layering Circle Dies.  If you do not have any dies, punches will work just fine.
              • The words are stamped with Soft Suede ink, then are stamped a second time on a scrap piece of paper and the Happy is cut out with my handy-dandy Paper Snips.  Happy is popped up with mini-dimensionals.
              • All done and remember to decorate your envelope.

                Lovely is the Day, Painted Glass & Dies

                I found an unfinished card the other day, and said to myself, because there wasn't anyone here, "you really need to finish the gazillion projects you have laying around".  So here is just one of the many.

                Recipe: (building from base)
                • The base is an 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 piece of Call Me Clover (retiring, 5/31/2020), scored at 4 1/4.
                • The Call Me Clover layer is 5 1/4 x 4, and is embossed with the Tufted 3D Folder (retiring, 5/31/2020).
                • The Whisper White piece is 3 1/2 x 2 1/2, and is the base for 3 Stained Glass Call Me Clover die cutouts (retiring 5/31/2020).
                • The flowers, from Lovely is the Day, (retiring), on top of the cutouts are stamped with Tuxedo Memento Black ink on Whisper White and cut out with the Lovely Leaves Dies (also retiring). The colors on the flowers are stamped with Blushing Bride, Pineapple Punch, and Rococo Rose.  The leaves are stamped with Old Olive ink.
                • The words from Very Versailles are stamped with Call Me Clover ink, (retiring), on a 5 1/8 x 1 piece of Soft Sea Foam, which is sponged with Call Me Clover ink.  The base is a 5 1/4 x 1 1/8 piece of Flirty Flamingo, and both ends are punched with the Banner Triple Punch. Side note:  My next card will have a more narrow strip for the words, just sayin'.
                • The butterfly, from Stained Glass (retiring), is stamped on Whisper White and colored with blends. By the way, when the 2019-20 catalog ends, the Blends will only be offered in pairs, not singles. 
                • Four small Basic Pearls are added.
                • All done and remember to decorate your envelope.

                    • The base is an 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 piece of Night of Navy, scored at 4 1/4.
                    • The Petal Pink layer is 5 1/4 x 4.
                    • The Melon Mambo layer is 5 x 3 3/4, and is stamped with an image from the bundle with Melon Mambo ink.
                    • The Rose Gold Foil die piece is placed under the 5 x 2 piece of Petal Pink, that has been punched with the Banner Triple Punch.  The 4 3/4 x 1 7/8 piece of DSP is also punched with the Banner Triple Punch.
                    • A piece of the Night of Navy/Gold Foil Edged Ribbon is wrapped around the DSP/Melon Mambo/Petal Pink layers before adhering to the base.
                    • The tag from the bundle is stamped with Night of Navy ink and added with dimensionals.
                    • All done and remember to decorate your envelope.
