You've Got Style
Isn't she adorable?  Well, of course she is, right!!!
This is Erma, and I get the giggles when I work with her.  You've Got Style is a seven piece stamp set and it comes in both clear mount, and wood mount, and for as low as only $18.00.
Recipe:
  • The base is an 8 1/2 x 5 1/2  piece of Wild Wasabi, scored at 4 1/4.
  • The Calypso Coral layer is 5 1/4 x 4.
  • The 5 x 3 3/4 piece of Tutti-Frutti DSP is stamped with Calypso Coral ink and the Playful Backgrounds Stamp set.
  • The Chocolate Chip piece is 3 1/2 x 2 7/8, and the Whisper White on which Erma is stamped is 3 1/2 x 2 3/4.  Erma is running on a stamped Crumb Cake image from the Sheltering Tree set.
  • The die from the Rose Garden Thinlits is cut out with Calypso Coral cardstock, and the Whisper White piece is stamped with Chocolate Chip ink and a stamp from the Rose Wonder stamp set.  I cut this out with my Paper Snips close to the stamped outline.  These two pieces are glued together with snail adhesive, and popped up with dimensionals.
  • The Calypso Coral ribbon from the Sale-a-Bration Shimmer Ribbon Pack is wrapped around the Whisper White before it is glued to the Chocolate Chip.
  • The Rhinestone Basic Jewel on Erma's finger is just to let you know that she is a happily married woman.😊
  • Don't forget to decorate your envelope.
  • All done!!!

Recipe:
  • The base is an 8 1/2 x 5 1/2  piece of Bermuda Bay, scored at 4 1/4.
  • The Basic Black layer is 5 1/4 x 4.
  • The Whisper White layer is 5 x 3 3/4, and is stamped with Smoky Slate and the flower stamp from Amazing You.
  • The smaller layer of Bermuda Bay is 4 x 3, and the Whisper White piece on which my words and flower are stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink, is 3 7/8 x 2 7/8.

At our last Bi-Monthly Shoe Box Swap (SBS), Dorriea Murphy offered this card for each of us to make.  Just gorgeous, isn't it?  She is a very special and talented lady in my downline, and I'm so glad she participates in everything Stampin' Up! related.
Our next SBS is Saturday, May 12, 2018, and if live in Burlington, Mebane, Graham, or the surrounding areas and you would like to participate, please let me know.  You do not need to be a SU Demonstrator to participate, however; you do need to use all current SU products for your shares.  It is absolutely Free.

Birthday Wit for my April 2018 Classes
This fun birthday card is from the stamp set, Birthday Wit.  I was so excited to get my hands on it, and begin creating.  I am going to offer this card at all of my April 3, April 5,  and April 7, 2018  classes(Click on any one of the dates for more information.)   See below for all the supplies.
Recipe:
  • The base is an 8 1/2 x 5 1/2  piece of Berry Burst, scored at 4 1/4.
  • The Whisper White layer is 5 1/4 x 4, and is dry embossed with the Oh My Stars Embossing Folder before adhering it to the Berry Burst layer with Tombow Liquid Glue.
  • The next Berry Burst layer is 5 x 2, and adhered to the Whisper White embossed layer with Tombow Liquid Glue.  I choose liquid glue because I found that the liquid glue sticks better to embossed images, plus there is "wiggle" room should I not lay the layer straight, (say it isn't so, right?).
  • The 4 7/8 x 1 7/8 piece of DSP is adhered to the strip of Berry Burst with snail adhesive.
  • The Bermuda Bay scalloped circle is cut from the Layering Circle Framelits dies, and the image on which the words are stamped with Bermuda Bay ink is cut from Whisper White and the Stitched Framelits dies.
  • After I stamped my words with the Bermuda Bay ink I cleaned the stamp, and stamped again with Berry Burst ink to get the Happy Birthday image, and cut it out with my fantastic Paper Snips.  I put three Mini-Dimensionals on my Whisper White circle and glued my Berry Burst Happy Birthday directly to the dimensionals.  I did it this way because I only wanted the Berry Burst Happy Birthday to adhere to the circle piece.
  • Don't forget to decorate your envelope.
  • All done!!!

Garden Girl &
Wood Words
This cute, fun, and sweet card is made with one of my favorite stamp sets, Garden Girl, and I made it, just because.  Isn't she adorable?   See below for all the supplies.
Recipe:
  • The base is an 8 1/2 x 5 1/2  piece of Marina Mist, scored at 4 1/4.
  • The Calypso Coral layer is 5 1/4 x 4, and adhered to the Marina Mist base with snail adhesive.
  • The Whisper White layer is 5 x 3 3/4, and sponged with Soft Sky and Wild Wasabi ink, BEFORE I adhered it to the Calypso Coral layer with snail adhesive.
  • The fence is stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on Whisper White cardstock, and colored with Watercolor Pencils and a Blender Pen, then is fussy cut with my fantastic Paper Snips.  I used the Mini Stampin' Dimensionals on the back of the fence, and BEFORE I adhered it to my card, I stamped the flowers, and colored them, again with Watercolor Pencils and a Blender Pen.
  • My Garden Girl, (I named her Caroline), is stamped on Whisper White with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink, and guess what, colored with Watercolor Pencils and a Blender Pen. I used Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere her to the card.
  • I covered the carrots in her basket with flowers punched with the Tree Builder Punch and scraps of cardstock.  I adhered the flowers to Caroline with glue dots.  Then I added Pearl Basic Jewels to the flowers.
  • The "sun" is cut from So Saffron cardstock, the Swirly Scribbles Thinlits Dies and the Big Shot, and is glued to the card with a Fine-Tip Glue pen.
  • The sentiment is from Wood Words and stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink.
  • Don't forget to decorate your envelope.
  • All done!!!

Birthday Blooms,
Lots of Love, and
A Mother's Flair
Lookee here, the Swirly Snowflake dies are more than just for Christmas.
Recipe:
  • The base is an 8 1/2 x 5 1/2  piece of Rose Red scored at 4 1/4.
  • The Wisteria Wonder layer is 5 1/2 x 4, and cut with the Swirly Snowflake dies, then adhered to the Rose Red base with snail adhesive.  The Big Shot Die Brush is used to remove the little dots of cardstock after die cutting.
  • The Very Vanilla layer is 5 1/4 x 3 7/8 and also cut with the Swirly Snowflake dies, then adhered to the Wisteria Wonder layer with snail adhesive.
  • The rose from Birthday Blooms is stamped twice.  First on Very Vanilla and again on Rose Red cardstock, and both with Rose Red ink. Both rose blooms are cut out with my wonderful Stampin' Up! paper snips.  The Very Vanilla rose is cut super close to the outline, and the Rose Red background is cut so that I had a small edged background.  I also cut away some of the flowers and leaves from the rose.  These two pieces are adhered with snail, and popped up with Stampin' Dimensionals.  I used watercolor pencils and a blender pen to color my rose.
  • The little Wister Wonder leaves are from the Lots of Love stamp set, (though any stamp set that has leaves would work), and the words from A Mother's Flair are stamped with Rose Red ink.  The little Rose Red flowers near the scalloped edges are from Birthday Blooms.
  • Don't forget to decorate your envelope.
  • All done!!!
