Message in a Bottle, Magical Mermaid and Seaside Shore
I combined three stamp sets to make this fun card, and it is easier to make than it looks (not that it looks all that hard).
Message in a Bottle and Seaside Shore (the seashells) are both retiring on May 31, 2018, so if you want these sets, click right Here, to place an order and to see all of the retiring everything.
Recipe:
- The base is an 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 piece of Pool Party, scored at 4 1/4.
- The Bermuda Bay layer is 5 1/4 x 4.
- The Thick Whisper White layer is 5 x 3 3/4. I sponged this piece with Pool Party and Chocolate Chip ink. Stamped the "ocean" and seashells with Chocolate Chip (sure gonna miss this color), and stamped the seaweed with Bermuda Bay ink. Then I dry embossed this piece with the Seaside Embossing Folder.
- I stamped the bottle with Chocolate Chip ink on Whisper White cardstock, stamped the whale with Basic Gray ink inside the bottle, and cut out the bottle with my fantastic Paper Snips, and popped the bottle up with dimensionals.
- The sentiment is stamped in Chocolate Chip ink (gonna miss this color, oh, I said this already, didn't I?), on Whisper White cardstock and punched it out with the Classic Label punch. Also, put it on the card with Mini-dimensionals.
- Adhered all together with Multipurpose liquid glue.
- Don't forget to decorate your envelope.
- All done!!!
