Welcoming Woods
This card was designed and hand-crafted by my wonderful friend, Wendie Jamison. She is part of my planning team when designing and putting colors together to prepare for my Creative Therapy Card Classes each month.
- The base is an 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 piece of Merry Merlot, scored at 4 1/4.
- The Basic Gray layer is 5 1/4 x 4 and is embossed with the Tasteful Texture folder.
- The next Merry Merlot layer is 5 x 3 3/4 and the edges are torn.
- The next Basic Gray layer is 4 3/4 x 3 1/2, and again, the edges are torn.
- The 4 1/2 x 3 Basic White layer is stamped with Tuxedo Memento Black ink, and, you guessed it, the edges are torn. After stamping, Wendie sponged the bottom of this piece with Old Olive ink, and the top part lightly with Merry Merlot ink.
- Some black Baker's Twine was wrapped around the top three layers before adhering them to the Basic Gray/Merry Merlot base.
- The words are stamped on a 1 1/4 x 3/4 piece of Basic White and adhered with dimensionals.
- All done!! Remember to decorate your envelope.
