Comfort and Hope, & 
Flowers for Every Season Designer Series Paper
Comfort & Hope is a new stamp set in the 2020-21 Stampin' Up! Catalog, and it's one of my newest favorites.  It has words and background stamps, and can be used for many occasions.  

Recipe: (building from base)
  • The base is an 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 piece of Just Jade (new 2020-22 in-color), scored at 4 1/4.
  • The Flower for Every Season DSP layers are 5 1/4 x 4 & 4 5/8 x 1 3/8.
  • The next three pieces of Just Jade are 4 7/8 x 1 1/2 & 3 5/8 x 2 1/2, and 3 x 3/4.
  • The Very Vanilla piece on which the images are stamped is 3 1/2 x 2 3/8. 
  • The words are stamped on a 2 7/8 x 5/8 piece of Very Vanilla with Early Espresso ink. The Lovely Labels Pick-a-Punch is used to make the design for the words piece.
  • Three Champagne Rhinestones are added.
  • All done and remember to decorate your envelope.

    Back on Your Feet
    Back on Your Feet is so cute, and most appropriate for lots of occasions.
    I saw this design on Pinterest, what else, right!  I am so sorry, I do not remember the original designer.  

    Recipe: (building from base)
    • The base is an 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 piece of Bumble Bee (new 2020-22 in-color) scored at 4 1/4.
    • The Shaded Spruce layer is 5 1/4 x 4.
    • The background rectangles and Crumb Cake layer are cut out with the Stitched Rectangle dies. 
    • The giraffe is stamped with Tuxedo Memento Black ink on a 2 x 3 1/4 piece of Shimmery White and colored with Stampin' Blends.
    • The Bumble Bee ribbon is added behind the Crumb Cake layer.
    • The words are stamped and cut apart with my handy-dandy Paper Snips, and mounted on the card with Mini-Dimensionals. 
    • All done and remember to decorate your envelope.

      Nature's Beauty, Dandelion Wishes and In Good Taste DSP

      I get excited when I find unique ways to use the beautiful designer series papers from Stampin' Up!
      I wanted the main focus of this card to be the In Good Taste DSP, especially because it comes in a pack of 24 double sided sheets for just $21.00. 

      Recipe: (building from base)
      • The base is an 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 piece of  Early Espresso, scored at 4 1/4.
      • The other Early Espresso layers are: 4 7/8 x 1 3/8, and 3 1/8 x 2 5/8 and 3 x 2 5/8.
      • The In Good Taste DSP layers are: 4 5/8 x 1 1/4, and 3 x 2 1/2 and 2 7/8 x 2 1/2.
      • The images are stamped with Early Espresso ink.
      • Three Basic Pearls are colored with a Soft Suede Blend.
      • All done and remember to decorate your envelope.

        Senior Years and 
        Playing with Patterns DSP
        My good friend, Andy, recently retired and this stamp set is so appropriate for his special occasion.  
        I could not decide which piece of the Playing with Patterns designer series papers to use, so here you have it, four of the same card, with a little different look.

        Recipe: (building from base)
        • The bases are 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 pieces of Purple Posey, scored at 4 1/4.
        • The Night of Navy layers are 5 1/4 x 4.
        • The Playing with Patterns DSP layers are 5 x 3 3/4.
        • The Night of Navy pieces for the "retirees" and the words are:  3 3/8 x 3, 2 x 3/4, and 2 5/8 x 3/4.
        • The Coastal Cabana layer is: 3 1/8 x 2 7/8.
        • The Whisper White layers are: 3 x 2 3/4, and 1 7/8 x 5/8, and 2 1/2 x 5/8.
        • The "retirees", aren't they cute, are stamped with Tuxedo Memento ink and colored with Blends.  
        • The words are stamped with Night of Navy ink.
        • All done and remember to decorate your envelope.

          Silhouette Scenes, 
          Sweet Silhouettes Dies & Butterfly Wishes
          Silhouette Scenes is another stamp set on a beautiful card that I am offering at my July 2020 classes.  The Artistry Blooms DSP is perfect for this card, and I am so pleased with the results. My wonderful assistants, Michelle and Wendie helped me design this card.  One of their many talents, just sayin'

          Recipe: (building from base)
          • The base is an 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 piece of  either Gorgeous Grape or Calypso Coral, scored at 4 1/4.
          • The Basic Black layer is 5 1/4 x 4.
          • The Artistry Blooms DSP layer is 5 x 3 3/4.
          • The tree is cut with Basic Black and the Sweet Silhouette dies.
          • The Whisper White circle is cut with one of Layering Circle Dies (the one closest to the 2 1/2")
          • The little girl swinging from the tree, and the words from Butterfly Wishes are stamped with Tuxedo Memento Black ink.
          • Three teeny tiny pearls are colored with a Basic Black blend and added to the card front.
          • All done and remember to decorate your envelope.

            A Little Lace & 
            The Lovely You Bundle
            The Lovely You Bundle has so many possibilities, and this is just one of them.  

            Recipe: (building from base)
            • The base is an 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 piece of Just Jade, scored at 4 1/4.
            • The Night of Navy layer is 5 1/4 x 4.
            • The Whisper White layer is 5 x 3 3/4 and is stamped with Just Jade, Night of Navy, Gray Granite, and Bumble Bee ink.
            • The Just Jade and Night of Navy tags are made with the Lovely Labels Pick-a-Punch.
            • The words from A Little Lace are made with Versamark, White embossing powder, and a heat tool.  
            • The Bumble Bee ribbon sure makes a pretty bow, doesn't it!
            • All done and remember to decorate your envelope.

              To a Wild Rose 
              for my July 2020 classes
              I am excited to share this beautiful card with all of those attending my July 2020 classes.  
              (I have limited the class attendance so we can distance ourselves and be socially acceptable.)

              Recipe: (building from base)
              • The base is an 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 piece of Old Olive scored at 4 1/4.
              • The Brass Foil layer is 5 1/4 x 4.
              • The Very Vanilla layer is 5 x 3 3/4.
              • The 5 x 1 1/8 piece of Bumble Bee is the base for the 4 7/8 x 1 piece of the 2020-22 In-Color DSP.
              • The flower is stamped on Very Vanilla with Bumble Bee ink and cut out with the Wild Rose dies.
              • The leaves are cut out with the Wild Rose dies and Old Olive cardstock.
              • The words are stamped with Early Espresso ink.
              • The Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels are added for accent.
              • All done and remember to decorate your envelope.
