Lamp Post Punch Art for December 2014

For All Things, Fall Fest, and Truly Grateful Card and Purse

To create my own background on my For All Things card, I just stamped randomly all over.  Then I thought it needed a little more, so I added the leaf stamps from Fall Fest, (see it's not just for Halloween), and as you can see I kept going, and going, and going.  The best thing about a card like this one, you can stop decorating at any time, and you have a unique card of which you're proud.
To give the purse some personality, (and we all like projects with personality, don't we?), I stamped it with the background stamp from Truly Grateful.  The leaves on the purse are from the Fall Fun Framelits.  I think both projects, especially the purse, are wonderful little fun fall gifts for just about anyone.

Recipe:  Stamps:  For All Things, Fall Fest, and Truly GratefulPaper: Cajun Craze, Crushed Curry, Old Olive, Chocolate Chip, and Very Vanilla card stock; Ink:  Cajun Craze, Crushed Curry, Old Olive, Early Espresso;  Accessories: Big Shot, Petite Purse Die, Fall Fun Framelits, 1 1/4" Square Punch (for flag on purse), Dimensionals.

If you would like to place an order, head on over to my Stampin' Up! website, www.lindafisher.stampinup.net, and click on the shop now tab, or click on the 2014-15 Catalog right here on my blog.  Another option,  please feel free to contact me directly.  I usually place orders twice a month.

Lalaloopsy

If you haven't heard of Lalaloopsy, she is an American line of plastic rag dolls from MGA Entertainment. These dolls were originally released in 2010 as Bitty Buttons but the brand name was changed to Lalaloopsy shortly after launch. They were popular in the 2010 holiday season. A variety of large and small Lalaloopsy dolls have been released, as well as several Lalaloopsy themed video games. In 2012 and 2013 Lalaloopsy TV specials and TV series began airing on Nick Jr.

My 2 year old granddaughter adores the Lalaloopsy doll, and when I came across Wendy Cranford's blog, http://www.luvinstampinup.blogspot.com, and saw her punch art Lalaloopsy dolls, and the fantastic video, I knew I had to make these the doll cards, so here they are.  Darling, aren't they?  I couldn't stop at one, no, I had to keep going, and going, and going.  I have others I'm not posting, don't want to take a chance on boring you.   Her dress was made from the now retired Dress Up Framelit Die, and it is still available on the clearance rack for just $14.99, item #130101.

Supplies:  Stamps:  Itty Bitty Banners;  Paper:  Blushing Bride, Real Red, Island Indigo, Whisper White card stock; Summer Smooches dsp (retired); Ink:  Real Red, Island Indigo;  Accessories:  Big Shot, Circle Framelit Die, Bitty Banners Framelit Dies, Dress Up Framelit Die, Petite Pennants Punch, 1 3/8" and 3/4" circle punches and more.

Trim the Tree and Mitten Builder Punch

My friend, Sande Parcell, is a very talented and avid stamper.  She attends my monthly classes and is a member of my Hostess Club.  When she comes to class or Hostess Club she always brings cards for "show and tell".  I love that she does, because I casually lay to the side the cards I want to CASE.  This is just one of the few of Sande's jewels I borrowed.  I did change the colors, and used different papers, and am very pleased with the results, so much so, I am going to offer this card at my November 4, 6, and 8, 2014 card and project classes.

The Cherry Cobbler base is 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 scored at 4 1/4,
The Soft Sky layer is 5 1/4 x 4
The Cherry Cobbler layer is 3 3/4 square
The Trim the Tree DSP is 3 1/2 square
Each of the four Whisper White square is 1 7/16"

Supplies:  Stamps:  Endless Wishes;  Paper:  Cherry Cobbler, Soft Sky, Whisper White card stock, Trim the Tree DSP and Gold Glimmer Paper;  Ink:  Cherry Cobbler;  Accessories: Mitten Builder Punch, 1/8" gold ribbon, dimensionals.

The Mitten Builder Punch makes such cute gloves, and it is on the clearance rack for just $9.59, item #127824.

Festival of Trees Card-in-a-Box

I like the card-in-a-box ideas, because, #1, they are cute, #2, they are unique, #3, they are fun to make, #4, folds flat for mailing, and #5, there are so many possibilities, need I say more.

I have been "toying around", (I think that's a phrase from my Mom's day), with offering a class to make several card-in-a-box cuties, and this one is a definite possibility.  I used Nikki Spencer's box as a jumping off point to get going.  You can see her box Here.

The double-wide box uses a piece of 4 1/4 x 11 1/2 card stock, scored at 3 7/8, 5 1/2, 9 3/8, and 11" on the landscape side, and 2 1/8" on the 4 1/4" side.  I found the directions to assemble on YouTube.  Just look for Stampin Up card in a box.

Recipe:   If you scroll to the end of this post, you will see I have listed all the supplies used to make this card.  If you would like to place an order, just click on the item you want and it will take you to my ordering page, or please feel free to contact me directly.
