Sailing Home for my June Creative Therapy Classes
The 4th design I offered at my June 2019 classes. Everyone made 2 each of the 4 designs and a box in which to carry their cards. Add 8 postage stamps and an ink pen, and there you have it, a great, one-of-a-kind gift.
Recipe:
- The Crumb Cake base is 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 and scored at 4 1/4.
- The Balmy Blue layer is 5 1/4 x 4.
- The Night of Navy layer is 5 x 3 3/4.
- The Cherry Cobbler strip is 3 3/4 x 1 1/2 and is the base for the 3 5/8 x 1 1/4 piece of Come Sail Away DSP.
- The Balmy Blue and Cherry Cobbler ovals are cut out with Layering Oval Stitched Dies.
- The words are stamped with Night of Navy ink on Whisper White cardstock, sponged and then cut out with a die from the Smooth Sailing Dies.
- The anchor is stamped with Crumb Cake ink on Crumb Cake cardstock and cut out with one of the Smooth Sailing Dies. Some Braided Linen Trim is threaded through the little hole in the anchor and adhered to the card with Mini-Dimensionals.
- All done, and remember to decorate your envelope.
