 Daisy Lane &
Happy Thoughts for my
May, 2021 classes

This is one of the eight cards I am offering at my May, 2021 Creative Therapy card classes. It will not take any time at all to make two of these cards. Why you ask? My assistant, Michelle, has stamped and punched all the flowers, (she's wonderful like that).

Recipe: (building from base)
  • The base is an 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 piece of Gorgeous Grape, scored at 4 1/4.
  • The So Saffron layer is 5 1/4 x 4.
  • The Basic White is 5 x 3 3/4.
  • The ferns are stamped with Pear Pizzazz.  The daisies are stamped with Daffodil Delight, and Gorgeous Grape and punched with the Daisy Lane and the Medium Daisy punches.  The words, from Happy Thoughts, are stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink.
  • All done, remember to decorate your envelope
Should you want to purchase any of the supplies I used to make this card, I would be honored if you chose me as your demonstrator, and placed your order in my on-line store, HERE. Or, you can click on the 2020-21 catalog right here on my blog.

     Whale Done and
    Nothing's Better Than

Whale Done stamps, Pretty Peacock, Magenta Madness &
Basic White card stock. Stitched Rectangle dies.
Tuxedo Memento Black, Mint Macaron, and Calypso Coral inks.

Nothing's Better Than Stamps & Dies, Basic Black, Cinnamon Cider, and Basic White cardstock, Stitched Nested Labels Dies (retiring 5/3/2021)  Tuxedo Memento Black ink.
    Bumble Bee ribbon

My wonderful Hostess Club ladies made these cards using napkins.  How about that!!  So easy, and just think how many napkins there are, and all the cards one can make.  WOW, mind boggling.
Both of the stamp sets we used will be available in the 2021-22 catalog by Stampin' Up!, but not as a bundle.  Great news though.  You have until May 3, 2021 to purchase these sets as a bundle to save 10%.

    Recipe:

    • The bases are 8 1/2 x 5 1/2, scored at 4 1/4.
    • The next layers are 5 1/4 x 4.
    • The next layers are 5 x 3 3/4.
    • There are many, many YouTube videos to demonstrate how to make a napkin card, and each one is a little different. Just go to YouTube and search, Napkin Cards, then choose the one that you like best.  For our cards we used a glue stick, just like the little ones in school.
    • All done! Remember to decorate your envelope!!

Ridiculously Awesome & Hydrangea Hill Designer Series Papers

Some of the products I used to make this card are going to be carried over to the new catalog, some are retiring on May 3, 2021.  However, I wanted to share this sketch, because you can use almost any color combination and any DSP, and get the same results.

    Recipe: (building from base)

    • The base is an 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 piece of Mossy Meadow, scored at 4 1/4.
    • The Purple Posy layer is 5 1/4 x 4. (This in-color is retiring 5/3/21), and is embossed with the Subtle Texture Folder, also retiring 5/3/21.
    • The next Mossy Meadow, Highland Heather, and Hydrangea Hill DSP layers have been cut with an In the Woods Die, (also retiring 5/3/21). The finished dimensions are: Mossy Meadow, 5 x 3 1/8, Highland Heather, 5 x 3, and DSP, 5 x 2 7/8.

    • The ribbon is Metallic Edged white, and unfortunately is sold out. Though, it wasn't when I made this card to post. I ought have been quicker, huh?
