 Peaceful Deer &
In Your Words for my
November, 2021 Classes

I think it's great to have an assortment of masculine cards on hand, so I thought this would be a perfect offering for my November 2nd & 6th, 2021 Creative Therapy Classes.

Recipe:
  • The Early Espresso base is 8 1/2 x 5 1/2, scored at 4 1/4.
  • The Crumb Cake layer is 5 1/4 x 4.
  • The Cinnamon Cider layer is 5 x 3 3/4, and is embossed with the Bark 3-D folder.
  • The 3 5/8 x 2 Gold Foil layer is the base for the 3 3/8 x 1 7/8 piece of the beautiful Blackberry Beauty DSP layer.
  • The next 4 x 2 1/2 piece of Early Espresso is the base for the 3 7/8 x 2 3/8 piece of Very Vanilla on which my words are stamped with Early Espresso ink.  I used the now retired, In Your Words, for the happy birthday, however, almost any Happy Birthday will work for this card.
  • The deer and antlers are stamped with Early Espresso ink on a scrap of Crumb Cake.  I cut out the deer with my handy-dandy Stampin' Up! Paper Snips, and punched the antlers with the Deer Builder Punch, and adhered to the card with mini-dimensionals.  If you do not have the punch, no worries, cut the antlers with the paper snips.  Works just fine.
  • All done, and remember to decorate your envelope.

Thinking Thanks and Peace & Expressions in Ink for Halloween

This fun card was made with Expressions in ink DSP, some black glimmer paper, and two retired punches.

Recipe:
  • The base is an 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 piece of Granny Apple Green, scored at 4 1/4.
  • The Basic Black layer is 5 1/4 x 4 and the word, Boo, is stamped with Whisper White ink.
  • The Black Glitter layer is 4 x 3 3/4 and is rounded with the Detailed Trio Punch.

  • A 1" circle punch, and a small oval punch are used to punch the eyes with Granny Apple Green cardstock.  I used my handy-dandy Paper Snips to cut them in half before adhering them to the 3 1/4 x 2 3/4 Basic Black layer.
  • The Black Glitter eyeballs are punched with a 1/2" punch and adhered with glue dots.
  • Two Matte Black dots are added to the edge of the smaller black piece.

Penguin Place Bundle, Picture This Dies and Peaceful Place Designer Series Paper

I absolutely CASEd this card from page 33 of the 2021 Holiday Mini Catalog from Stampin' Up!  I did add an extra layer, because that is what I seem to do😊,  and this is my version of the Penguin Place card.

Recipe:
  • The base is an 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 piece of Real Red, scored at 4 1/4.
  • The Balmy Blue layer is 4 3/4 x 3 3/4 and I embossed it with Basic White embossing powder, a heat tool and the snowflake stamp from the set.
  • The penguins are stamped with Tuxedo Memento Black ink on Basic White and cut out with the Penguin Builder Punch.
  • I used the Picture This dies and the Cut & Emboss machine to cut the windows for the penguins. I adhered a 4 1/2 x 3 1/2 piece of Basic White cardstock to a 4 1/2 x 3 1/2 piece of Peaceful Place DSP together and cut out my windows.  This gave a little more stability than just using the DSP.  I popped this piece up with dimensionals.
  • I just realized that I did not add any sentiments, so picture "Season's Greetings" and "To The Coolest Friend Ever" on the card front.
  •  All done! Remember to decorate envelope !!

My team and I designed this card for my October 5th and 9th, 2021 classes using my newest stamp set, Amaryllis Abloom.

Season's Blessings, Christmas Season & Painted Christmas DSP for my October, 2021 Classes

I am offering this beautiful seasonal card at my October 5th and 9th, 2021 Creative Therapy Classes.  I did get the idea from Zoe's blog, Stamping Scene.  You can see her card Here, post of August 7, 2021.
Zoe said it best--This card is a simple version of a pyramid card and instead of stamping you use the DSP papers and cardstock to create the layers.

Recipe:
  • The base is an 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 piece of Early Espresso scored at 4 1/4.
  • The Mint Macaron layer is 5 1/5 x 4.
  • The Garden Green layer is 5 x 3 3/4.
  • I cut a 3 1/4 x 1 3/4 rectangle from the center of the top DSP layer using the Rectangle Stitched Dies.  Then I adhered a 3 3/8 x 1 7/8 piece of Garden Green behind the cut out DSP, and adhered this combination to cover the empty space in the DSP.
  • The words, from Season's Blessings, is stamped with Early Espresso ink on a 3 1/4 x 3/4 piece of Basic White, and is backed with a 3 7/8 x 7/8 piece of Early Espresso.  I added a 3 7/8 x 1/2 piece of Brushed Metallic Gold Foil under the bottom of the Early Espresso.
  • To make the pine cones:  I stamped Early Espresso and Soft Suede ink (I stamped off once) on Basic White with stamps from Christmas Season, and cut them out with Seasonal Label Dies.  The sprigs are stamped with Garden Green ink on Basic White, and also cut out with the Seasonal Label Dies.
  •  All done! Remember to decorate envelope !!
