Something Fancy Bundle & True Beauty

Laurie Meier, www.stampedgreetings.com

I recently attended a NC Stamper's Demonstrators Quarterly Meeting in Raleigh, NC and participated in a card swap.
I received the top fun fold card from Laurie Meier.  Laurie has a blog, and a video on how to make this card, and you can see her video Here.
I decided to make one of my own and change the cardstock and paper.  Below are the supplies I used.

Recipe:
  • The base is a 4 1/4 x 11 piece of Blackberry Bliss, scored at 2 1/2, 3 3/4, 6 3/4, and 8 1/4.
  • First Fold: Blackberry Bliss is cut to 4 x 4, and the Flowers & More DSP cut to 3 7/8 square.  The words, from Something Fancy, are stamped on Basic White with Blackberry Bliss ink, and cut out with a Something Fancy Die.  It is added to a piece of Calypso Coral, also cut out with a Something Fancy Die.
  • Second Fold:  Blackberry Bliss is cut to 4 x 4, the Flowers & More DSP cut to 3 7/8 square, and 1 x 3 3/4.  Baker's Twine is wrapped around the DSP piece 3 times before adhering it to the Blackberry Bliss.  The words from Something Fancy, are stamped on Basic White with Blackberry Bliss ink, and cut out with a Something Fancy Die.
  • Third Fold:  Calypso Coral is cut to 4 x 2 3/8, and the Basic White is cut to 3 7/8 x 2 1/8.  The flower on this piece is from True Beauty and stamped with Blackberry Bliss ink.
  • All done and remember to decorate your envelope.
