Ornate Thanks & Stitched Shapes Dies
I have been seeing cards on Pinterest made with varying sizes of circles, and I saw a YouTube video by Lorraine. I liked the way Lorraine designed her circles, so it looks like each color blends into the next. If you get a chance, you can see her video Here.
Recipe: (building from base)
- The base is an 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 piece of Balmy Blue, scored at 4 1/4.
- The Night of Navy layer is 5 1/4 x 4.
- The Whisper White layer is 5 x 3 3/4 and is embossed with the Tasteful Textile 3D embossing folder.
- The circles are cut out with Balmy Blue, Pacific Point, Whisper White, and Night of Navy cardstock. I used all four of the circles in the Stitched Shapes dies. (see picture below)
- The 4 x 3/4 piece of Night of Navy is the base for the 3 7/8 x 5/8 Whisper White, on which my words are stamped with Night of Navy ink.
- Dimensionals are used to pop up the word pieces.
- All done and remember to decorate your envelope.
